When I first learned of Spinvox years ago, I checked the patent records and saw nothing that resembled a true voice to text service plausable. This is a scam! For a start, Shiny Shiny is an Internet Marketing Company which spinvox is actually shoving cash into. How many investors have been duped - haa.

yeah, actually i used to work at spinvox, i used to listen to people voicemails and transcribe them.

Given that my laptop is currently sitting on THE machine that does this - it's quite real and there's no people in sight.. Well - aside from me.

This system works by having a REAL PERSON manually transcribe your voicemails!
- and yes, that's how they manage to cope with different accents!
- clearly the girls at ShinyShiny weren't informed about this
- would you pay for someone to listen to your private voicemails? Seems really dodgy to me!

Actually its both voice recognition software and human, the system calls on human assistance when required. As for would you pay for someone to listen to your private voicemails, This service is obviously marketed to situations where a PA or VA would be used, so paying someone would be a yes.

Believe me, I work for a third party company working for Spinvox, and I heard all kind of weird stuff from Spain.
Shit I even got their awfull accent.(not that I hate them but listeinign to them 8 hours per day, makes you hate the way they speak)
