IMO trance provides listeners with an opportunity to explore rather than recall, which is what

And also there's some theory that trance listeners need to have more mental capacity because trance is more about the melody than the rhythm, whereas conventional music is primarily about the rhythm. And that contributes to the smaller number of listeners haha. So these things can be used to disprove my theory, you could just say that there is a small number of people who enjoy trance, not just a small number of women :)
