Sup Tuan? We followers would benefit from better audio in your vids. Look into getting a shotgun mic that u can attach to your cam or get a wireless lavaliere mic. also cut down on the posing vids. These are not as helpful as your showing us how to work out videos. not gonna lie im trying to have a body like u Thanks!
Hi Tuan, I noticed you mentioned that you do higher reps for better shape. Its seems to be a highly debated topic. I was always lead to believe that a muscle can only increase in size and the way to make it look better was to strip away the fat layer with diet and cardio. What is your opinion on this topic?
@benfoley83 All I can say is that many factors play a role in building the calfs. I use both high and low reps, different speeds, tempos and do many different exercises. Providing the right amount of nutrition so your body can build muscle is also a factor. Best thing to do is measure your calfs, put them through a full program and see if the program you used helped them in any way, shape, size or strength. Trail and error, figure out what works best for you
@benfoley83 if you do high reps with any muscle, your muscle WILL develope detail. if you want this detail to be visible, you must lower your body fat.
@JSG949 I don't believe that higher reps makes the body put new muscle cells in more visually pleasing areas. Most people believe that to be a "Bodybuilding Myth" Our shape is pre-determined by genetics and the insertion points of various muscles.Yes you can get increases in size, like Tuan says I just don't understand why the muscle would magically become more "toned or defined" just because you did a few extra reps at a lighter weight
@benfoley83 beleive what you want. you had a quesstion, i answered it. this is how every professional bodybuilders get their detail before competitions
@JSG949 that is just not true, just google it. Its a myth just like women that still believe that lifting weights will drastically alter their feminine shape.
@JSG949 Its a myth bro, just like the one that lots of ab exercises will magically reduce fat around the midsection. Just google it or read any creditable fitness book and you will see what I mean
Excellent video -- we've gotta combat the epidemic of Chicken Legs. If you don't put time into the calves, eventually they look disproportionately small and you've got to work even harder to catch them up.
I've heard calves is shitload about genetics
