  • damn Rest In Peace "Mr Spizz" sad that I never got to shake hands and be in the same room with you. Thank You all the same for your genius.

  • r.i.p. Roberto. He's passed away

  • A true master!

  • Roberto,

You have true passion of your art. I hope to meet with you in the near future when I'm touring Europe with Circa. I'd love to come to your shop.

You are the real deal ! I bet the cymbals sound incredible

  • How come these are so incredibly expensive?

  • @DEADMANSJOURNAL it's all right here in the video. One man factory handmade quality, checked by his ear.

  • maybe my favorite youtube video of all time

  • What I would give for a 10 minute shopping spree at Spizz's workshop...

  • Roberto has an obviously deep soul and is someone who grasps the true and deeper understanding of music and the instruments that create it. Dirty IS beautiful.

  • he plays very well too.. nice

  • very inspiring!

  • Yeah! Very interesting! I just bought my first Spizz-cymbal and i like it more and more every day. Great craftmanship!

  • grande Roberto!!!

  • Its good to see things made buy man and not mass produced in a greedy factory

  • What a nice little movie, thanks for sharing it! :-)

  • the grand master

  • What a pleasure to see this video. It brings back memories of when I spent a couple of days with Roberto in Pescia, about 10 years ago. It was like a pilgrimage. He so generously spent hours and hours with me, and I was able to select the most beautiful cymbal in the world. But of course every one of his cymbals is a work of art... they sound more like old-Ks than the old-Ks do! He is a true genius - I'll never forget his kindness and passion for cymbals.

  • there are other places to get his cymbals second hand

  • Second hand, but don't buy the ones that have the logo "Spizz" on them. Could be rip-offs. Long story I can't tell here.

  • Hey, I need a machine like this...

    ;)

  • Roberto lives in a little town near Parma, in Italy. His cymbals are sold only by my high school buddy, Lee Ruff. There is a waiting list, because the cymbals are all handmade by Roberto. His passion is to make the perfect cymbal. If you attend a US drum show, you may find Lee with a batch of cymbals. You should hear them once in your lifetime if you can, they are that good.

  • Actually, it's Pescia, a little town near Pistoia, in Tuscany.

  • I wish I played drums so that I could give this guy my money.

  • Where does this guy live? I really love this craftmanship!

  • Love it :D

  • I wish I could know this guy he must be nice person, great job, lucky man, and very nice movie work, great camera

  • great!!

  • Super nice and interesting 10x 4 posting this.

  • Superb! I like the idea of creating software to communicate with objects. I would like to be able to view my dreams when I'm awake.

  • A true master!

  • This is just awesome. Awesome. Thanks for posting this one!
