This is the Euro interserie championship. The M8Fs weren't competitive with the 917s and their entries were patchy through the second half of the series. The earlier M8s were with lesser teams and also didn't fair well. The Mclaren M20 was more competitive on a couple of rounds but they all had a poor finishing record and that was about the end of them.

I have seen 3 M8F´s racing along with 2 othe M8´s and many other cars at last years Jim Clark Revival at Hockenheim.
The sound is just awesome.
