I love 80's stuff, I see it all the time at the dump and I just shake my head in disappointment and think " Why do people throw this away just because it looks old?" Thats how I like my stuff!
I still have my mini LXI stereo from early 80's with digital tuning I got in high school. Will have to make a video.
It was one of the most precious things I ever had as a kid. Thought it was a 40 watt RMS boombox as pictured in the Sears catalog and planned to have the loudest blaster ever for school.
But was a mini-component system for shelf and AC only. No handle.
In my college years it was the loudest stereo in the dorm. A little alpha male in a big world of power rack systems.
awesome set! i have a 1986 soundesing boombox with cd player. needs some work with the cd and cassette and it has a line in and line out. i have a vid of it too.

My Grandmother has an LXI tv that she watches everyday. It's from 1991 and works great.
She has went thru several remotes.

We had an LXI TV from 1987 that I recently gave away, that is still going today. Only repair was fixing the power supply after a power surge.
