@HolyShadow180 no proof that it will be as the one in the video, maybe they will not remove falling damage... However, I would say that if they will remove it will be unfair, mages have falling protection, paladins have, etc. Warriors are vulnerable and way to simple.

@meregaspawn the only reason they bring it back for cata was the huge amount of complaints when they cut it from wotlk.. they felt it would lead to too many bugs when used outside northren and outland.. but now that we can fly in cata where this ability proved to be a problem its no longer one.. + if u time this ability right with charge and intercept u can really do some good pvp tricks.. charge-strike-heroic leap back and in mid air intercept back pewpew =)

they removed it because there were too many gaps in the rendered maps of azeroth, andpeople would use the abiklity only to "fall through" the world. It would take too long and too much man power to go through the whole of azeroth, outland and northrend and fix each "hole" individually so they scrap the ability instead

So warriors would be one of the only few classes that can't save themselves from hights?

There are classes with slow fall/levitate, pallies can bubble, druids can change into flight form.

Warriors can charge towards an enemy mob to avoid falling damage, so I don't think this is a valid reason to have removed this ability.

I play a warrior and a priest, in my opinion, it would be very beneficial in getting close to an enemy in the nick of time. Exp: Pvp, Arenas, or even Dungeons, not too mention if it stunned the target again.

Well your wrong , Charge cannot be used in combat as a fury spec. Only with warbringer as prot or juggernaut as arms can you charge in combat. and they are both very far down the tree.

I don't see a problem with it. Mages can already do the same trick using blink, and they can do it more easily.

I understand why they nerfed intercept, charge, intervene and feral charge to track falling damage, because they are used on direct attack and require nothing in the way of timing or skill (just keyspam until in range). Seems to me that leap requires a little more finesse than merely charging a target, so I think it's fine as-is.
