I still adore Pokemon and hearing her do Ash's voice got me all giddy like I had just got up for Saturday morning cartoons and saw there was a new episode of Pokemon airing. He was one of my top heroes as a kid and even one of my first cartoon crushes. I will always be a poke-nerd, especially for the original series!

Plus, May is her natural voice, just a little higher. May sounded so sweet before, but without her she sounds too girly-prissy. Her voice actor loss made me dislike my favourite character :'(

the reason the voice changed is becuase 4kids lost the rights to pokemon to pokemon usa.

There was no reason for the VA switch to begin with. I think Pokemon USA just changed the original VAs because they felt like it. =(

Yes, they can. Veronica Taylor and the other voice actors who work for 4Kids are freelance. They can work for any company they want.

In fact, Rachael Lillis has even had a minor role on the Pokemon USA dub. Also, Pokemon USA has been using a lot of voice actors from 4Kids, including Dan Green, Sean Schemmel, Ted Lewis, and Lisa Ortiz. These VAs have had a lot of roles on the Pokemon USA dub so far.

Therefore, this proves that there's nothing preventing Veronica Taylor from returning.

Oh, on the contrary my dear AshFangirlLisa. Many things prevent Veronica Taylor from returning to Pokemon.

For one things, Sarah Natochenny is happy to continue voicing Ash Ketchum, and both TPCI and Duart are happy to have her remain on board. Which is why by mutual consent, Sarah is now contracted to voice Ash Ketchum for at least 5 Seasons (that's up through Season 13).

Another thing preventing Veronica from returning to Pokemon is her piss-poor attitude and conduct, both in 2006 and more recently. No offense to Veronica Taylor fans, but it's true. Just see mechwarrior58's "Meet Veronica Taylor" video, and you'll know what I mean. That's TPCI's position, and DuArt agrees both in letter and spirit. Why else would Tom Wayland of DuArt (and 4Kids' properties) himself willingly give Veronica the message directly.

Hopefully my last comment because I doubt the owner wishes to have watcher debate Pokemon.

I just want to point out that at this panel, Veronica Taylor talked about more than just Pokemon (though yes, I am aware that Pokemon dominated the discussion). She has done and still is doing a lot of voice work outside of Pokemon, which she has to do in order to make a living and raise a family. So I hope those who tout themselves as Veronica Taylor fans are interest in her other voice work as well.

I sit back there on purpose. Anytime I record a voice actor panel, I try to get behind everyone. That way, my camera and tripod are not in anyones way and I can raise the camera high enough to record above everyone's head. I also try to sit next to a speaker which I was able to do in this panel.
