I think that some of you are missing the point. I don't think that they designed it to be a theft-proof device. Even Fort Knox can be broken into; no prison can be escaped. But it does deter the quick snatch and grab theft. Nobody is going to lift it and walk away easily---without some type of large cutters (I got mine today and sorry, palm sized cutters won't do it without a lot of time and effort). It is better than leaving the item unsecured, for sure.

Cheap pin tumbler lock, just pick it in two seconds flat!

what you can do it's add a little alarm inside the pack that turn's on if the cable of the bag is cut, so the bag will do a lot of noise
