  • They sound pretty good to me. No one over 18 and not getting paid, Pretty damm good I would say.

  • this is great!

  • good... but some definite tuning issues

  • nice!!!!!!!!! bravo!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • this is pretty good a couple bow posture dislikings but other than that it is pretty good.

  • mhs has a seriously good orchestra alright, so dont diss it.

and sorry if are perhaps not dissing it, but its sounds to me like you pretty much are.

  • me too.

  • i played this in 6th grade

  • bravo!!!

  • This is quite good, but there are quite a few issues in balance between the different sections, and tuning as well.

  • me too i would of liked to of heard more of the lower instruments, i was waiting the whole time for the violins to quiet down

but over all really good job

  • In this song, most of the lower strings are usually never heard unless they have a melody.

They have really repetitive notes anyway and most of them are on the lowest string.

So its hard to actually distinguish.

  • wow. amazing! the end gave me gooseubumps! it was very beautiful

  • Amazing Tonka... as always!

  • We played this with our school orchestra, but these guys are much better...

  • The orchestra sounds great! And I like the deep melody, instead of the violin taking it, but the band out of tune unless they're suppose to sound flat...(which they don't).

  • So Pro

  • My school is doing this next year with our top band/orchestra and Chorus.. its gonna be SUWHWEET

  • lmfao principle 2nd WHY SO MUCH BOW?!

  • at the beginning i was worried that the strings kill alot of the brass in the overture especially the second half of it. and timing was poor but never the less it was good, considering the college/schools i have attended have never reached such levels, so i still stand jealous.

  • watch the expression. sorry, but in this piece, i heard very little of it.

some sections (trumpet, flutes & clars) were overpowering EVERYONE. maybe it's the quality of the sound, but yea. the bass were not powerful enough too.

i play for my nation's youth orchestra. played another version of the song by jacob de meij. very challenging version. you guys should try it out too

    good job, well done.

all the best for your band :D

  • Oh, wow, that transition was bad...fortunately, it got better around 2:00. And Think of Me was nice, but it started putting me to sleep. Everything from then on was nice.

And btw, the constant cuts are quite annoying.

  • nice beat and i can play the cello

  • the beginning was ok but the part when they change key to four flats is always the bit everyone hates! Trust me, I've played this a thousand times, and I play for a county orchestra which is fantastic. This orchestra is quite good, but they could have put in more dynamics.

  • i completely agree.

  • this is a high school band, kids usually don't give a damn

  • oh dear god... what a cacophony of out-of-tuned notes...

  • very good we sang a melody of pto songs for chorus i'm a violinist to but my orchestra sucks ur really lucky u know to have sumthing that good

  • hey i hate people like u stop putting up spam porn comments

  • Whho u mean with "u"

  • some one put a spam porn add on this video i was talking to them the losers keep putting them on my videos too

  • Does anyone here know the Slavic MArch from Tchaikovsky... I swear u Tschaikovsky is a genius.

And so is Mussorgsky and... well I could write a book like this :-)

  • This piece of music really rules!!!

  • theres some french horns in there and i must say they were way off key at one part but overall the strings were nice as well as the trumpets

  • and the oboes? :-) Those are ALWAYS good :-p

  • That was Really pretty awesome. Ill assume to the person that was recording, that that 1st or 2nd vioninist was your child or sibling?

  • really amazing!!! I love phantom of the opera!!!

  • Yes, they are very good. But Korosna isn't lying. WE (from Holland) could do it much better. But we practise long... Very long :-( (not always fun...)

  • Great job guys!!!

check out the Chapman Symphony Orchestra playing Dvorak 8th on you tube!

Chapman University is a private 4 year university in Orange County, CA

The Chapman Conservatory of Music has on its faculty many of the top players from the Los Angeles Philharmonic and Pacific Symphony.

  • My band in middle school played this, but it wasn't as good as this.. really well...some parts were off but oh well nobody's perfect..

  • very nice played!!! Our youth orchestra plays it to :)

It's kind of slow in the beginning but I like that very much! I love this theme.

  • But we play it much better!!!!!!!!!

  • Don't know that. We didn't play it well last time....But we need to practise!

  • Transition at 01:42 was terrible. Overall was very nice job.

  • ok...

  • I think we did fairly well... ^-^

  • who is this?

  • A male concert first violin with an amount of anonymity...

  • You transitioned during a cello soli. No. Fair.

Oh wow, You can totally hear some...instrument...around 7:00 that's way off. And I think I know who that is, but I'm not going to comment.

I get zoomed in on. Thankfully during non-incredibly-stupid moments.
