The orchestra sounds great! And I like the deep melody, instead of the violin taking it, but the band out of tune unless they're suppose to sound flat...(which they don't).
at the beginning i was worried that the strings kill alot of the brass in the overture especially the second half of it. and timing was poor but never the less it was good, considering the college/schools i have attended have never reached such levels, so i still stand jealous.
watch the expression. sorry, but in this piece, i heard very little of it.
some sections (trumpet, flutes & clars) were overpowering EVERYONE. maybe it's the quality of the sound, but yea. the bass were not powerful enough too.
i play for my nation's youth orchestra. played another version of the song by jacob de meij. very challenging version. you guys should try it out too
Oh, wow, that transition was bad...fortunately, it got better around 2:00. And Think of Me was nice, but it started putting me to sleep. Everything from then on was nice.
the beginning was ok but the part when they change key to four flats is always the bit everyone hates! Trust me, I've played this a thousand times, and I play for a county orchestra which is fantastic. This orchestra is quite good, but they could have put in more dynamics.
Yes, they are very good. But Korosna isn't lying. WE (from Holland) could do it much better. But we practise long... Very long :-( (not always fun...)
They sound pretty good to me. No one over 18 and not getting paid, Pretty damm good I would say.

This is quite good, but there are quite a few issues in balance between the different sections, and tuning as well.
Trinkletty 3 years ago
me too i would of liked to of heard more of the lower instruments, i was waiting the whole time for the violins to quiet down
but over all really good job
rinkibandaholic 3 years ago
In this song, most of the lower strings are usually never heard unless they have a melody.
They have really repetitive notes anyway and most of them are on the lowest string.
So its hard to actually distinguish.

And btw, the constant cuts are quite annoying.

You transitioned during a cello soli. No. Fair.
Oh wow, You can totally hear some...instrument...around 7:00 that's way off. And I think I know who that is, but I'm not going to comment.
I get zoomed in on. Thankfully during non-incredibly-stupid moments.
