He is definitely right! I switched to the Storm 2 as soon as I could when it came out and I have been soooo much happier! Excuse my language but DAMN I fucking hated my Storm 1. When I had my Storm 1 it got to the point where I actually started throwing it on hard brick or something so it would break and so then I would have to get a new phone! But damn the Storm 1 is indestructable! So sadly I just had to deal with it till my upgrade came and the Storm 2 came out. But anyway I LOVE my Storm 2!!

BUT, I have to say, the Storm is my FIRST Blackberry and I couldn't have started with a better one that it so I say I love it BUT (again) I do want the Storm 2. It not only looks awesome, the typing thing and the screen is a lot better than the original which is one of the reasons I DO NOT like 100% my Storm. Anyway, awesome review. @ Superiorpakfan, although you are right and sliders can become damaged... I'm just not sure how salt dust is going to get into it. You'd have to be pretty careless to let that happen. The storm 2 is a decent device though.

I've had my Torch from day one and the keypad slids as good as the I got it. Its actually a very smooth experience and I use my phone heavily all day every day.  I'm also posting this comment from my Blackberry Torch :).

i just disagree with what you said about blackberry having a bad OS. if you know what you are doing it is one of the better operating systems to use. very user friendly and maybe im just lucky, but so far i've not even had one problem with the phone.

Starting by the wrong way all the menus are made like the settings are hard to use for me, and some of them are just useless, instead of just making a big useless folder they make one folder for each useless setting which is pretty anoying. Im not sure if you like the pressing screen thing but personaly I just hate it and is not just me cuz many people have told me that is really anoying. Guess I cant make you change your mind, shame there are so many good phones.
