I've been trying to find out the name of this song for quite sometime. I'm glad I finally found it. I first heard it back in the late 90's on the PBS program Race For The Super Bomb. If you haven't seen it and enjoy history I highly suggest you watch it. FYI: It is available you youtube

Fred Kirby did the first and, in my opinion, best version of "Atomic Power" in 1946. He seems considerably less enthusiastic about the Super Bomb.

I had to put this in my favorites. I think it's the first Armageddon country song I've ever heard!
