@LottoWinner999 First of all i never called the tiger invincible, also the top armor is about 26mm i think so yes i believe that they got ripped apart but the 101st SS heavy panzer battalion said that the planes where more of a nuisance than a threat. also that was when they where in the tiger 1 facing the brits, when they started fighting the Americans they had the tiger 2 with the top armor around 45mm which non-AP 50 caliber rounds would bounce off.
in that vid the first one was a jagdpanther and it didn't even get knocked out then the second was too small to be a tiger and the third one was a halftrack.

T-34' were the best fast, cheap + easy 2 build + replace.

Eventually, the SS-Totenkopf Division of the Waffen-SS was entirely formed from these concentration camp guards for their brutality.
SS-Totenkopf Division was indeed on of the worst units. However the 36th Waffen Grenadier Division under the command of Oskar Dirlewanger was far worst. SS-Totenkopf Division first commander if im correct was Theodor Eicke who was commandant of Dachau and was involved in the execution of SA leader Ernst Röhm in the night of the long knives.

Thats a start. when it came to POWs ther Japaneses treated them like dirt as well. The Germans however treated British, American and other POWs how should i say not perfectly but reasonably but they treated the Russians like dirt. How ever there were incidents when American captives and even British captives were sent to the death camps. And there were cases where allied soldiers would murdered after being captured in which most of theres crimes committed by Waffen SS Units.
Don't forget: The SS served a totally different role than the Wehrmacht (regular Army) in WWII. Wehrmacht men and officers were not expected to sign an oath of loyalty specifically to Hitler, give the Hitler salute, or be a Nazi party member, mostly because many officers wouldn't have done it. They thought of themselves as protectors of Germany, not the little Bavarian Corporal's race war.
On the other side was the SS. When Wittman joined, only 1 in 10 Nazis passed the ideological tests. Scary.
Wittman was Waffen SS, which meant he swore a personal oath to dedicate his life to Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist Worker's Party.
He was a masterfully skilled tanker, surely amongst the best 3 of the war, but he would NEVER have been made an officer in the Waffen-SS if he had not been an orthodox and enthusiastic Nazi Party member. That was what differentiated the SS from the Wehrmacht. Their loyalty was to Hitler and his race war first, Germany second.
Just because he was a member of the Waffen SS dose not make Wittmann a bad man what i learned about made me respect the man. Michael Wittmann was a warrior who did his duty. Rest in peace Hauptsturmführer Wittmann.

Agree...Waffen SS was indeed the elite of WWII German army...though built by Himmler in days,when he badly wanted to be an army leader(the he became,leading the Berlin reserve army and then Heeresgruppe Weichsel in 1945)...
I think,most likely,it were the SS who were killing prisoners,that was supposed to be during the battle for the Bulge...for that,btw,SS Obergruppenfůhrer Sepp Dietrich was inprisoned and he in that time commanded the 6.SS Army.

P-51 Mustans, P-38 Lightnings, P-47 Thunderbolts, A-26 Night Fighters were equipped to be Tank Buster with 2000 pound bombs. German Tiger Tanks + armed vehicles could not travel during day becuase of Tank Busters. This why Germany lost the war and Tiger Tanks had no defense with Tank Busters. At the time the germans had lost so many men they where around half strength also you are completely correct on the air part and one reason they lost in the battle of the bulge is they where fighting the 101st abn. @LottoWinner999 First of all i never called the tiger invincible, also the top armor is about 26mm i think so yes i believe that they got ripped apart but the 101st SS heavy panzer battalion said that the planes where more of a nuisance than a threat. also that was when they where in the tiger 1 facing the brits, when they started fighting the Americans they had the tiger 2 with the top armor around 45mm which non-AP 50 caliber rounds would bounce off.

I am going to tell U a true story on Russian Front General Heinz Guderian gave special orders to capure a Russian T-34 Tank in tact. They captured T-34 Tank+ General Guderian took it to back to Germany. Gurderian had a meeting with Hitler + showed it to Hitler + said build as many T-34 Tanks as possible + he would personallty gurantee Germany would win the war. T-34' were the best fast, cheap + easy 2 build + replace.

He got real angry at people who think German tanks + German troops were better. He said at Bastogne the American Soldier proved to the world we were the best. With no US Air Power + Waffen SS had new tanks + rested + refitted troops. USA Low on ammo + troops put clerks + cooks in the front line + we defeated their best Waffen SS + thats why we WW2!!

The Sherman Tank was light tank for troop support and very fast. Also USA developed Tungsteon Steel shelsl that ripped open Tiger Tanks. In 1945 U should see the US Pershing Heavy Tanks that ouclassed the Tiger. There were 30,000 Sherman Tanks in Europe + they ganged up on Tigers of called the Tank Busters.

With heavy armor, machine guns, cannons and a 4000 pound bomb load the Sturmovic became a heavy duty Tank Killer. It wiped out slow Tiger Tanks and gave excellent ground support. USAAF helped Russians develop Tank Killer tactic. The tank is obsolete weapon and its only used in the offensive when the attacking force has Air Suprmacy. Tiger Tanks were obsolete in last 18 months of WW2.

P-51 Mustangs, P-47 Thunderbolts + P38'S were equipped to hold up to a 2000 pound bomb. They called them Tank-Busters + U should see how easy a bomb totally destroyed Tiger Tanks. When Tiger-Tankst massed in large numbers they sent a squadron of B-17 bomber to eradicate the tanks. USAAF had had 2 planes for every Tiger Tank which meant they had to wait their to bomb the Tiger Tank.

You're 100% wrong and a fucking idiot to boot. The Gestapo wasn't SS and it didn't run the concentration camps. The SS Totenkopfverbande was the branch that ran the death camps, and their personnel were regularly moved into Waffen-SS divisions (including Wittmann's) as replacements.
Eventually, the SS-Totenkopf Division of the Waffen-SS was entirely formed from these concentration camp guards for their brutality.

SS-Totenkopf Division was indeed on of the worst units. However the 36th Waffen Grenadier Division under the command of Oskar Dirlewanger was far worst. SS-Totenkopf Division first commander if im correct was Theodor Eicke who was commandant of Dachau and was involved in the execution of SA leader Ernst Röhm in the night of the long knives.

Correct. Eicke was a fanatical Nazi and the Commandant of Auschwitz. He personally supervised the bulk of the early gassings, and as a reward was transferred to command SS-Totenkopf, created entirely of SS concentration camp guards.
The Direwanger brigade was indeed likely the worst overall, but it was much smaller and the men much less fanatically loyal. Most were literally insane or simply violent predators who killed and raped until it bored them, then they deserted.

May i correct you on something the Commandant of Auschwitz was Rudolf Höss. He was the first cammandant of Auschwitz but latter returned to supervised the gassings of the Jews from Hungry. he was latter hanged after the war at Auschwitz. Eicke was killed in the war.

I stand corrected, Titanic, you are correct. Eicke was "inspector of concentration camps" before he was made commander of SS-TK. Even amongst the SS he was reported to be "inflexibly harsh". The man literally slavered at the mouth for the chance to kill undesirables.
He would regularly test the camp guards by forcing them to shoot a random child or female prisoner. Those who hesitated even for a second had their SS insignia ripped off their collars and were sent to the Wehrmacht as draftees.

Both of them were incredibly brutal. The Japanese were similar to the Nazis in that they were racial supremacists who saw their enemies--men, women and children--as animals to be disposed of as they saw fit. They butchered millions of Chinese, forced thousands of Korean women into sex slavery, and basically raped and pillaged wherever they went.
Read Iris Chang's "The Rape of Nanking". One of the most horrifying books I've ever read. And the Japanese government still won't admit to doing it!

Thats a start. when it came to POWs ther Japaneses treated them like dirt as well. The Germans however treated British, American and other POWs how should i say not perfectly but reasonably but they treated the Russians like dirt. How ever there were incidents when American captives and even British captives were sent to the death camps. And there were cases where allied soldiers would murdered after being captured in which most of theres crimes committed by Waffen SS Units.

Don't forget: The SS served a totally different role than the Wehrmacht (regular Army) in WWII. Wehrmacht men and officers were not expected to sign an oath of loyalty specifically to Hitler, give the Hitler salute, or be a Nazi party member, mostly because many officers wouldn't have done it. They thought of themselves as protectors of Germany, not the little Bavarian Corporal's race war.
On the other side was the SS. When Wittman joined, only 1 in 10 Nazis passed the ideological tests. Scary.

Wittman was Waffen SS, which meant he swore a personal oath to dedicate his life to Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist Worker's Party.
He was a masterfully skilled tanker, surely amongst the best 3 of the war, but he would NEVER have been made an officer in the Waffen-SS if he had not been an orthodox and enthusiastic Nazi Party member. That was what differentiated the SS from the Wehrmacht. Their loyalty was to Hitler and his race war first, Germany second.

Do you know anything at all about the nature, standards, loyalty oath, or unit makeup of the Waffen SS? They were the equivalent of the NKVD troops of the Soviet union, utterly and completely ruthless men, selected for their unquestioning loyalty to their regime.
The SS ran the death camps and also shot about a million Russian civilians dead.
