I know exactly how you feel - wanting to be something you're not. I love computers, but my ultimate goal is to become a writer. I feel like I'm moving in that direction, but it just doesn't seem to be happening fast enough for me. I'm an instant gratification, chick. I have no patience at all.
I'm sure you'll be that art teacher one day, you seem to have the motivation and desire, so you WILL be successful.
BTW, LOVE the sculptures. I would like to try my hand at that one day. =)
Like you, I'm in a "sautee" period. I am stuck in a middle management position with NO promotion opportunities. The economy sucks so it would be stupid for me to leave the co. What I decided to do is use this time to look inward. In the past 9 months I have grown so much. It has been painful dealing with things that I kept away by staying busy. So I do understand your feelings. Just remember that this is temporary. Again, this can be a period of growth if you allow it. Use the down time to grow.

You're not always the one to see the difference that you're making. I'm in the middle of some differnce making myself right as we speak.
