  • its a james bond kinda car..nice!

  • At least the old Jags looked distinctive. This car looks far too mundane and conservative, too much like an Audi. It lacks that sophistic yet sporty look of the XK. Plus, it's built by Britons, which means it will have extremely shoddy build quality and poor reliability, and your lawn mower will probably last longer than the engine under the bonnet. Only a patriotic Briton, or an idiot (which is kind of the same really), would choose this car over the obvious superior German models

  • @BlastDance lmao man you really went in on this

  • @BlastDance somebody cant afford a jag....

  • @BlastDance The "British can't build" scheme has disappeared since at least the 1940's.. I have seen numerous, yet hundreds of German cars on tow trucks heading to the nearest kraut centre. Even in my gramps BMW, the car couldn't even make it from Gloucestershire to London without breaking down and showing some totally incompetent error message. We made the same trip in the Jag a few days ago and it covered 340 miles with no problem and on less than one tank of fuel. Both ways, no issue.

  • 16-way power seat?? i didnt know one's ass could contort with such a range.

  • And u morons say aluminIiiiium Lmao

  • its jagUar not jagwar

  • @YourTextEre Americans can never pronounce it correctly :P

  • THIS IS SOOO COOOL

  • what "traditional look"? the s type was a disgrace to the jaguar name...what kind of criritiscm is that? they just couldnt find any points of this amazing car.

  • id fuck her 2:56

  • id fuck that her 2:56

  • Was mama bear's bed the one that was just right, or was it too soft...? :-)

  • Never buy a Jag as a new car, the XF loses over 50% of its value in 2 years, so if you look in the used car ads, you can find a fully equipped XF for around $35,000, which is chump change for a luxury car. And then, of course, there's the terrible, shoddy British build quality of which Jaguars are notorious for. A Jag is all about looks, and it doesn't have much more than that. Heck, even the patriotic Brits of "Top Gear" agrees that Jags are built poorly compared to the German competition.

  • @BlastDance @BlastDance Yes and try telling that to people who have the car on a 3 year-lease, and get a new one in 3 years? Who the hell buys a new car nowadays anyway, most of it is done on company car programs and loans. And if you've seen Jaguar's Castle Bromwich plant in Birmingham you'd realise these cars are built in a very high tech place compared to some of the tatty unorganised BMW factories I've seen. Jaguar has a higher rating in the JD Power list than any German car. Silly American

  • @LukeNAESA10 Maybe not alot of people may not buy new cars. But if you''re gonna buy a luxury vehicle to show off to your family and friends, I might as well "earn" my luxury and buy it instead of lease.

  • @TitanSubZero15 Yeah me too.

  • @TitanSubZero15 Yeah, just like my family did. Instead of earning it they "bought it" if you understand.

  • @LukeNAESA10 That's what I was referring to. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I imagine myself going to a party with a new car with everybody thinking I bought it, yet if I leased it, it's just borrowing it sort to speak and just trying to falsely show off..

  • @TitanSubZero15 Either way you still have the car regardless of ownership.

  • lol I like how she dressed up to drive the Jag.... It really is a classy car.

  • S-type = Most hideous car ever made

  • 0:59 wth who wants the old look?

  • sexehh!!!

  • This car is superbly beautiful.

  • Wtf? How about a real shifter, people? Christ.

  • this is nice... but I still like the S type better. it's just pure Jag

  • jag wire lol

  • the power of the JAGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!! lol

  • If you want a Jag, just buy a used one. You can get a fully loaded XJ for $16-22 with 20k that's a couple years old with not so much as a ding on it and man... that is a nice car.

  • nice

  • this car completely changed the way i look at british cars

  • Looks like an aston martin from the back!

  • i want one!! too bad i can only afford like a used volvo hahah

  • @clubheadxtasy2 volvo s80 is a nice car.

But this is not very expensive for a jaguar and espacially not on ebaymotors

  • by used volvo, i meant like an 2002 s60 hahaa

  • @clubheadxtasy2 easy, sell one kidney, part of your liver, your left lung, the last two fingers of each hand, your nose and your left leg, and you can just go to perm bank every weekend and use that money for gas and insurance! see its possible!

  • It's not Jagwar, it's Jag-u-ar. Jagwar is a cat, Jag-u-ar is the car version of the wildcat.

  • Bough... Had... Sold.

  • why did you sell it?

  • i cant wait until the shifter can no longer pop up because its broken.

  • Even though current Jag's look way more better, I think they lost their originality. But they are still great.

  • old people mobile

  • thats fucking expencive i dont think it is worth it

  • the base is only 50k and it comes loaded with features

  • Jaguar are expensive, but I don't see many of them on the road. I actually know ppl that have owned one in the past, and they all spoke bad about it, usually saying its not good over 60K miles and its nothing more than a high priced Ford...

  • damn :S!

But the new ones look so sex! Id still buy one. But yah... id proabbly end up selling it after 70k

  • Why would you sell it after 70K? Is it true that those cars aren't good once they have reached that many miles..?

  • Umm are you kidding me? Jaguars are cheap as HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i own a Bentley and buying a Jag is just a lower grade.... and Jaguars are luxury unlike any other...

  • you own a bentley toy model...keep dreaming u ignorant pesant

  • @acuratlnigga your a total loser. i bet you drive a toyota camry. oh wait those cars kill people so your dead. Well my work is done.

  • najib nya wira gak power...x caya dtg pontian....

  • jagwire lolz

  • Dont care for the exterior styling...too damn dull for a Jag

  • ditto on the front. I love the rear though

  • I agree!

  • Beautiful!!!

  • ok everyone there is nothing wrong with the american JAG-WHAR and there is nothing wrong with the british JAG-U-R ok? we americans dont pronounce it the smae as you guys, so lay off. other than that this is an amazing car for the money. GO JAGUAR!!!!

  • I vote for Jag. Seems more cool... Did I just killed my argument using that word?

  • There is no correct way to say it. Even the Company's commmercials sometimes say it different, but usually say Jag-Whar. It all depends on where you come from. It is named after a jungle cat after all.

  • Jag-u-ar = British pronounciation, Jag-whar = American pronounciation. Or we could all just call it a "Jag" and end this arguing.

  • I love the green color

  • just calm down boys as far im concerned she can say jagwhar all she wants so long as i get to kiss her pretty ass, come to me mama bear, i want some honey

  • doesn't the back look like a Maserati ?

  • nahh more like an aston martin

  • @sidekick2025 was designed by the same team and at that time Ford owned both Jaguar and Aston Martin so it was okay back then

you can see the difference in the new XJ

  • Good how she says Jagwhar is annoying get it bloody right its Jag U ar for gods sake.

  • I'm sorry but that annoys me. It's JagUar not Jagwar

  • Competitors include the Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Infiniti M, Acura RL, Cadillac STS, and Lexus GS.

  • @youmils03 to which in omy opinion the lexus gs beats this.

  • this car is great

  • nice.

  • i like eveything but the grill.

  • FINALLY! a jag that doesn't look like it's from1930 and has an attitude. tihs car looks awsome

  • just a few things...jagwar? no jag-you-are...british invented it, say it right. and another thing is, why would anyone want a car that looks like an s-type. in britain, that look has been critisised always.

  • that is because all americans hold on to the "bowler hat" image of britain, thats why you go to london and would prefer to take pictures of red phone boxes to something truley modern, and besides, jaguar has been in a deep financial crisis for a while, and since they moderned their cars up, they are making less of a loss, and ok the basic and original design was not critisised, 50 odd years ago, and jaguar admit that that design was outdated as soon as the s-type was launched

  • i do agree that they need mroe sporty models, but the s-type was not the trend setter, it simply evolved from previous jags that never changed their design - i also agree they may be copying from lexus and other brands, but what many european reviews have been urging jag to do was revolutionise their models, not simply evolve them. now they have they have caused a split of opinions, but now the car appeals to more people, and has a first class interior and handling

  • you may feel that the XF isn't classy, but in comparison to the pig-ugly s-type, it is understated, and understated is cool. that is something the s-type never pulled off. and you cannot disagree that it has helped sales vastly. the xf is in demand, the s-type never was. and back to the design, the xf has road presence, the s-type with its comedy grill never did. the R was a little better, but is still no where close to the xf

  • these are my opinions, not just ones i have read or heard. i also happen to dislike the look of the veyron and weismann for the same reason. yes, vents are gimmicks, but they help the XF design work, they add presence and agression. as i recall, the s-type that the majority of people say looked best, the R, had many extra vents and other extra styling tweaks that you would class as gimmicks. the XF is a strong design, the s-type never did anything different, so jag didn't lose their older fans

  • What's with all the hating on British things. It's not like German cars are all spangly perfect for idiots with bodged eyes (you).

  • Its direct competitor is the Acura RL.

Slightly downscale alternatives to the Jaguar XF include the Audi A6, Lexus GS350, and BMW 528i.

A slightly alternative to the Jaguar XF include the Mercedes-Benz E350.

  • It's fitting that's raining when testing a British car, isn't it?

  • Dream machine:)
