Plug in a guitar hero guitar and play the guitar solos. Its more fun :P It turns each song hard aswell.

To be honest, i was just doing a simple combo I picked up, but I am looking forward to doing AceFool7's tip. No, this game is NOT that easy, I just make it look that way.

Upgrade your Shiftblade and use the long combo. Tip: When it says XXX down and X, you can just hold down and do XXXX and it will activate the combo to get them into the air; the down will just be used when it actually can be.

you get that thing with an "eye" by breaking those saks they give sometimes after fighting parts

I only get the yellow life balls.

The "Yellow life balls" are spirals (Used to buy stuff at the robot) and a bit after it gives you spirals, a shiny blue/yellow thing will show up where the sack was. The thing with an eye is a (Spirit?) pick.

OHHH!! Okay, you get get more than ONE pick. I assumeed the 'picks' were special and gave you powers. For some reason I get a small twitch while playing this game and I hit the button and do not get to read some of the screens. Thanks for the tip.

rockpetrad, I was playing on Normal. I will make another video of my character. I'm having some issues on some earlier level now too. I now know how to use skull power, but how do I actually 'get it'?

You gotta learn some X and Y combos. B is completely useless unless your using the throw and slice down combo (B, the Y)
