  • hey can u do a review on makeup forever hd powder vs elf one? i just bought the makeup 4ever 4m sephora just recently n wanna kno if its the same?

  • I like this video...I'm going to start doing that. Ive never once in all the years I've worn makeup remembered to set it lol...Do I still need to set it if I just use concealer and powder (no foundation) or tinted moisturizer and powder?

  • You actually are exceedingly beautiful, thanks a lot for your video playback. its sad i'm located in Winslow because i can not get hold of good makeup, however, i get hold of free of charge samples from "GratismakeupSamples". i adore Sally Hansen make-up!

  • really helpful ~!!! thank you~!!!

  • do you put that translucent stuff on after you put on foundation?

  • yes :)

  • Skindinavia is not a Scandinavian brand -- it says quite clearly on their website that they "are based and manufacture proudly in the United States just outside of Boston, Massachusetts."

  • what do you do if you don't have the powder puff though?

  • you can use a sponge, a cotton pad or even try a flat top brush (like a kabuki) to press and buff the product into the skin xxx

  • @filthygorgeousmakeup thankz youz *hands cookie* :]

  • @ devaloki - go buy some - they're really cheap at pharmacies

  • @helenfm I went and got some really nice ones from Shiseido

  • I never thought about the way I applied my powder and how it affects my makeup but you made a good point! I am going to try and press into my skin from now on! I already use the vitamin e spray, i love it in the summer too when I am hot! It feels lovely! xx

  • hey hey :) i have a question that might fit in here. i have really dry skin, so every time im not really carefull with putting on make-up, my skin start to kinda peel off. any ideas to prevent that?

your vids are great, love them!

  • glad it worked for you sweetie :) xx

  • @ lucylikesthesly - try using oil-based foundations, and I love Clarins Beauty Flash Balm. Use it after moisturiser and before foundation.

  • @lucylikesthesly A product by Embryolisse called Baume Secours works on dry skin so makeup can be applied on a smooth surface. Enkoremakeup talked about it in one of his recent Youtube video's.

  • great video!

    i ordered some fix + :).

    love your tutorials!

    keep them coming love!

  • Im going to buy the vitamin E spray :)

  • sephora is selling empty bottles with spray kinda thing and you put water in them and it;s work great (it's more cheaper this way and it works the same)

  • this is a reallly random question, but ive recently got a fringe cut, and i love it, but whenever i go out, i always find i get sweaty underneath it on my forehead, and with make up and my oily skin it doesnt really help either. i dont want to use body deodorants coz they just dry out my skin and make it blotchy and red. i dont know what to do to help my fringe stay in place and grease proof and my forehead swear free!. can anyone help?

  • when i'm going out to a club or when i know i'm going to be somewhere hot i use a product called trust, it's a tiny tub of white cream and i spread it across my hairline of my forehead with a cotton bud or q-tip - i have the same problem as you because i have a fringe! i find it works really well! i also use chanels poudre universelle libre - a translucent powder which is great because it doesn't change the colour of your makeup at all - but sets it completely. hope this helps! good luck! x

  • can you recomend a good moisturizer? a good drugstore moisturizer for dry skin.

  • thank you thank you thank you deary :) where can i buy this trust product?! i will also have to investigate this chanel product too.

    thank you dear

    much love xx

  • Great video. ^__^

Can one use thermal water (hope it's called that) such as Avene, Uriaj, Vichy, for setting the make-up?

  • I used to use vichy. It is good for refreshing your look, or if you feel that your skin is too matte and powdery, but it won't really make your makeup last longer as it has no fixing properties like the MAC fix+ or the Skindinavia sprays. Hope that helps!!

  • Thank you for your reply.

I have one more question, please. Does Skindinavia ship worldwide? I have no MAC store in my country, so that would be my last hope.

  • Loved this vid. Your the first guru that I've seen show the proper way to set the makeup by pressing the loose powder into the skin and then following with a finishing spritz. Haven't seen this in years. Thanks.

  • Thank you sweetie :) xx

  • Great tips.

I'm having a competition if you get the chance to enter :)

By the way I love your eye make up in this video xx

  • can you do this eyeshadow look you have on this video thank you..

  • Yes, I just need to edit it, it will be up soon :) xxx

  • haha cute cat photo, i like it!!!!!

and YES i definitly wanna try SKINDINAVIA no more shine cause it sounds that it really works.

(may i ask you which top ur wearing or is it a dress?)

  • Thanks, it is a jumper dress from H&M :)

  • always so gorgeouss arent you? i wish i looked like you!!!

  • lookin gorjus

  • I have really oily skin and have been taking extra steps to set my make up - and since I saw Gossmakeupartists recent video - I have to say the press and roll thing really works - thanks x

  • I really really want to get those sprays but the prices are in dollars. Do they ship to the UK?

  • Yes, I believe they ship internationally :)

  • @filthygorgeousmakeup

Thank you that's fab! :D Love your videos! I've recently bought the dark berry colour lipstick from Bodyshop that you featured (can't remember if it was your blog or video) and I love it!! :) xxx

  • Thank you Nataly! This is a really useful video!

  • Hi there, great video! Btw what nail polish are u wearing in this video? Looks lovely!

  • Thanks, it is maybelline's atomic violine :)

  • Thanks so much for the great tips! I'll try using a puff instread of brushes with my setting powder. You are so talented and know so much about makeup. Keep the great vid's coming! Are you a professional makeup artist?

  • Thank you, I would not say I am a professional in that I have never been to a beauty school and am self taught, though I have done freelance makeup and have learned so much from being in the fashion industry for years :).

  • Thanks for the video! (:

  • Great video!! Gorgeous nailpolish too--do you remember what you used?

  • Yes, I only got it a couple of days ago, it is from maybelline and called atomic violine :)

  • very useful, thanks! x

  • this was very helpful. thank you!

  • your eye makeup is sooooo pretty~

u r so good at creating natural look with a little dramatic hint~

  • thank you so much!! The tut for this look will be up in a few days :)

    xx

  • do you put it on your eyeshadow ? xD or you cant

  • Yes you can, I mean when you spray your face some will settle on your eyeshadow too. As long as you don't get it too wet it should be fine :)

  • Thanks for this, i really needed these tips! You rock! Maybe i'll ask my paernts to get me that E.L.F finishing dust for my birthday in January (my x-mas list is already too long) I have some from limecrime but it was discontinued so i'm afraid to use it lol.

  • Any loose translucent powder will do the trick, I find them all to work well for setting makeup, even the super cheap ones from the drugstore :) x

  • youre so pretty <33

  • Hello lovelly Natalya & Maxie ! Awee :D I love your make up here Darling.. wow thank you for this great Info :) Have I mentioned I absolutelly love your accent hehe well... I do much love oxox Melinda

  • Thank you Melinda, I will be uploading the tut for this look soon :) Maxie says hi!! :) xxx

  • Great tips!

  • Great video :)

Yeah I should have kept the powder puff from that ELF Powder. Oops. I do the brush thing. Don't tell me off, lol

    xoxox

  • hehehe.. I am wiggling my finger at you.. lol ;)

  • Great video- thanks for all these techniques :)

  • lots of people like the nyc translucent powder as well, it's really cheap and good.

  • oh really? I haven't tried it.. but pretty much any loose powder will do the same thing so I'm sure it works great :)

  • I think it's funny how they put the dots over the "A" in Skindinavia to make it look more... scandinavian or something. Looks so silly to me, I'm scandinavian (swedish) and... well, it's just silly, I guess thats shat I'm trying to say, haha. But I'd love to try that spray.

  • hehe.. I didn't even notice it before.. it is strange that as you say they are from Scandinavia, but the website is american..

  • does everyone else see the commercials b4 the video only on her channel? or is just me? i just thought it was werid & random! but as always you look gorgeous!! & great vid!

  • I have had a few people saying that... some people see them and some don't.. I'm not sure what is going on with YouTube and why I keep getting them popping up sometimes. Sorry!! I know they can be annoying :( xx

  • lol its no biggie, i just thought it was weird bc i only see them on yours lol ;)

  • i didn't see any but I do see them on others sometimes!

  • this may be siilly but i like MAC HDF or a powder foundation, cab you still use them or should you use a liquid mu?

  • Yes you can still use them, in fact using a spray on top of powder foundation is great as it really refreshes your makeup and stops you looking too powdery :)

  • your soooo right!!! to set my foundation i get a big puffy thing and it works very well instead of the little one lol but its still great! and the thing i like about the big puff is that you get the amount of powder you want and pat it over your face and it sets it and its only one layer of powder =] thankx for this video! you explain everything so right lol..you very beautiful as well but yeah i do at times get the whole thing when i smile the lines it looks funny i dont like it =[ lol..

  • Lovely Thanx aloooooooooooot :)

  • great video hun! You are totally right. I have that elf powder and I have been sweeping it on with a brush and I haven't been super satisfied. I am going to try it with the puff next time. Thanks for the video!

  • This is great!! What foundation and concealer do you use?

  • makeup forever hd foundation and their concealer (the one that comes in a set of 5 shades), for under the eyes I use bobbi brown creamy concealer :)

  • no wonder your skin looks pale. i will definitely try this!

  • Great tips in this vid thank you, I always apply my powder just like you, it lasts longer that way. Your eye make up is really pretty ;)

  • Thank you, a tut on that makeup is coming soon :)

  • thank you for a great video. that's the classic way of applying powder. i love brushes as much as the next girl but hey, up with the puff!

  • yes, I think people are so into brushes now that they sometimes forget the best tools can be simple things like a puff, sponge or even just your fingers :) x

  • I'm totally addicted to your channel so please keep them coming :-) I'd love to know if you have a favourite foundation and powder? I'm a paley too and have gone through countless ££ trying to find one to match my sensitve skin...x

  • For foundation I have tried so many, but my favourite is the makeup forever HD, they have a great range of shades to match pale skin. As for powder I love MAC MSF natural if I feel I need more coverage, or I sometimes use this alone :). Hope that helps!

  • Thank you for replying! I've heard so much about Make up forever HD, I will definately be giving it a try :-) x

  • I LOVE how you start every video :D

    "Hello my lovelies"

    Makes my day :D

  • Thanx for the tips they really help alot = ]

    Happy Holidays

  • love the picture of the kitty cat!!

  • How many times would it be fine to reuse the puff the comes with the elf powder?

  • Good question! I would say maybe 5 times, after that you can just use disposal puffs, or I sometimes use the makeup sponge wedges that are super cheap so it is not a shame to throw them away after a couple of uses :)

  • Thanks for the reply =)

  • Great video! You are so beautiful: ))

    Happy Holidays

  • how about setting the eyes? mine seems to wonder off down my face =S i use mac paintpots as my base so not sure why this happens?

  • I find that the best thing is just to use UDPP under all my shadows :), it holds my eyeshadow on for 12 hours at the very least :)

  • thank you for being just the LOVELIEST!!! lovely on the net!! 5/5stars

  • aww thank you sweetie!! xxx

  • if you don't mind answering a question, i allergic to the minerals in Fix+, it makes me break out badly. And other mineral makeup has done the same thing. so i stay away from anything that says mineral. so you know of a setting spray that doesn't have minerals in it? Thanks

  • As far as I am aware the bodyshop vitamin E facial mist has no minerals, though I would recommend that you try it on in store before you buy (the shop assistants working there are always very helpful in my experience and even provide you with free samples if you are unsure). Hope that helps hun! If you are worried though, you can always just buy an evian spray (or any water spray) which will refresh your makeup too :)

  • i just wanted to say thank you for letting me know about the Evian spray. i got it and it works great and it hasn't made me break out (which was what i was concerned about since Mac Fix + did) again many thanks!

  • fix + is a great. i love it.

  • Great video :) xx
