  • hey I can so relate to where you are at. I feel lately that I've really gone off track and am STRUGGLING to get back on track. It only takes a couple of day thought, of forcing yourself to do the right things that you know you need to do, to start feeling happy about the whole thing again. Push through it !! You can do it.

  • had a look at ur other vids, have u tried steamin rather than eatin everythin raw? it will keep nutrients locked in rather than boiling and it will taste better with the extra crunch lol. u said in another vid that it doesnt taste very appealin - use herbs and spices to give it some flava! herbs r jam packed with antioxidants - all gd! drink loads of water if ur arent already, will speed up ur metabolism too and flush out any toxins in ur bod. hope this helps x

  • I didnt know this,are you saying I can get the benifit of raw but added taste if I steam? Is this steaming lark easy..lol because it will need to be. Can you recommend nice herbs and spices for fish and veg (Im cluless,but eager to learn). I do drink a lot of water but carbonated is that still ok??

  • u can get a cheap steamer if need be from asda or tesco, 3+ tier. ul get a book with it that tells u how long to cook which foods for. herbs for fish r parsley, dill, coriander, but if u like any herb in particular, use it as u wud normally. dill or chives is gd with potatoes, sometimes rosemary (if u roast them in olive oil which is gd for u). mint for peas, parlsley or coriander for carrots. greens usually benefit from herbs like tarragon or oregano with a hint of pepper.

  • spices like paprika and all spice go well with most veggies and fish, but if u like twangy spice or heat go for chinese 5 spice, cumin, chilli powder, dried pepper/chilli (flakes), also clove (if whole u will need to crush them). any water is gd but carbonated does tend to upset digestion for some people. try filtered water with a slice of lemon/lime/orange and ice

  • garlic is gd for the heart and circulation as well so if u like it, crush it or chop it into wotever ur cookin. u can steam fish/chicken too, try sprinklin broken up veg/chicken oxo cube over fish/chicken in the top tier (usually labelled soup tier) and the steam will make blend the flava in.

    I`ve made a list of somethings to get,but i`d like to delve into your knowledge again.

    Do you know of any decent low calorie salad dressings,because I`ve been using a couple and found to my horror theyre 89 calories per tabelspoon :(

  • u can make ur own dressins as long u keep them in air tight container in the fridge n use them within 3-5 days. if u get shop dressins, go for lighter ones, balsamic vinegar base rather than oil as vinegar burns fat too. rather than cover salad in dressin, have a small servin on the side of ur plate and dunk rather than drizzle, ul use less.

    What ingrediants do I need to make my own dressing? Sorry about all the questions!

  • can't give links on here but do a google search for healthy recipes. go for higher vinegar to oil, if u use oil go for virgin olive oil or extra virgin.

    I haven't always been this way lol I lost 3st stone back in 2005 when I was workin a nutrition business. but then Ive put back on 5st after boredom and other things popped up.

    Im getting on quite well thanks. Havent had a fall back (not yet anyway) and its my second week. Let me know if you start to feel down again and well sort it out before all your progress goes.

    But remember... if you make a mistake its not the end. just get yourself back up and start again :)

  • You've defined your bumps and problems/temptaions, etc, and that's a big part to it. You do good with owning what you've done and identified what needs to be changed. I hear it in your voice and see it in your eyes (even in this video) You want it "enough" to work to get it.

    You're fighting for this and (and overdramatic as it all may sound) I'm gonna fight with and for you the best I can.

    I think making that vid (wich I didnt want to to be honest) will be a big turning point for me. I want to make vids about sucssesfully losing weight,and thats exactly what Im going to do from this point on :-)

  • one bad week is just a blip in the whole course of weight loss! as long as you don't let it derail you (which from the vid i can tell you won't) then you should just forget about it and do what you can right now to lose weight!

  • Yea this was just a bump in the road,and if aything seeing myself failing,and putting it out there for others to see me failing has just given me the kick up the ass I needed!

  • Things are actually going well right now. I've got some momentum that I'm trying to milk for all its worth before my motivation wavers/life gets in the way/etc.

  • it's just one of those days were we fall and get back up again we can do this you don't look bad at all how much do you need to lose ?

  • Yea your right,just one of those days I guess we all get it sometimes!

    As for the weight I need to lose ,I would be happy with losing 42lbs,wich up until about one and a half years ago I did.

  • Stay Motivated ... I had a bad mental week that really affected my physical workouts. but we all snap out of it. I'm going to post a new 45 day upate of P90X today on my channle if I have time.

    I thought twice about posting this but it`s all about the journey,the good and bad,but knowing it`s out there, people seeing me failing ,motivates me mor to get my shit together!
