The basic reason behind the hatred in our hearts against others is just "stereotypes". That is, we make assumptions about others, based on generalized views and misconceptions. Respond to this video... But no art other than calligraphy and no music (other than for prayer). One reason why traditional Arabic calligraphy is so beautiful is because depictions of anything other than writing is forbidden in Sharia. What is to stop Islam from once again banning art and music in obedience to Allah's Sharia? About sports; do they allow sports in the strictest Islamic states?

@ErisDulig Iran, Iraq, Saudia Arabia, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Egypt and Turkey all have football teams. They are muslim countires and some of them follow the Sharia', Islam encourages sports as I have already mentioned. I'm not saying musicians and actors wouldn't have to change their jobs, but footballers wouldn't.
