They have 1000's of different recipes to choose from and they help you build a fitness and nutrition plan that suits your goals. I'm happy that there's no fad diets, pills, or required supplements. We need to stop worrying so much about calories. Calorie content tells us nothing about the affect on blood sugar balance. Even though a piece of steak may have more calories by weight than a potato, the potato will elicit a far more powerful effect on blood sugar balance. Blood sugar imbalance and insulin resistance are probably the major contributing factors to obesity diabetes and heart disease. For sure though, processed carbs are generally far worse from this perspective.

This video is very helpful. It's so sad that there is so much obesity in America. I bet a lot of people who watched this couldn't care less and will keep going to McDonalds every day or every other day. It's almost depressing.
By the way, why not canned/frozen vegetables? I thought it doesn't make a difference besides maybe a little less taste.
Sometimes in those foods there are things added, but if when you read the ingredients there's pretty much nothing artificial, it will still benefit you.
(There could be other reasons why not other then chemicals/added stuff that I don't know of)

An approximate daily intake is around 2000 calories for women and 2500 for men although this very much depends on your current BMI, age and amount the of exercise you take.

well i have viewed most of your videos and this one i dissagree with. when u said eating a lot of fruits dont have as much calories as a hamburgur. well intaking large amounts of fruits means intaking a lot of fruitcose which eventually leads to diabetes mellitus. this means that control of food consumption is required and not so much changing eating habits from processed foods to fruits and vegitables. u have to look at the two sides when compairing two things.

Also, don't think the Jack in the Box Value meal doesn't have it a lot of sugar in it either. The fact is it has 148 grams of carbohydrates! Those statistics were from the normal value meal as well. Medium Coke and Fries, If you upsize it, it would be worse.

But yes, processed foods are rubbish - frozen vegetables are ok btw, and eating enzymes isn't of great benefit because your body will convert them to amino-acids in the same way we digest proteins.

Sometimes in those foods there are things added, but if when you read the ingredients there's pretty much nothing artificial, it will still benefit you.

Medium apple = 65 calories.
Jack In The Box Sirloin Cheese Burger = 1070 Calories.
16 Apples = that one Burger.
If you get the softdrink and fries its 1640 Calories or 25 Apples.
It would be physically impossible to eat 25 apples in one seating most likely.
