Uhm... on the iPod Touch is there Ninja Pirates in the room with the mask? I saw there was one on the PS2 video, so I just want to know before I finish the level. :D

I've played this epic game on 4 different platforms now, none of which i've ever fully completed, i'm trying to finish off the 3DS version now so i can sell it, and at this point when i looked up to that cage my jaw dropped.

Thanks for the videos, they really helped as i had to come here to find 3 hidden lum locations including this bloody one, all i need now is for someone to tell me how i unlock the first bonus level so i can get the last 50 lums!

they should really put a stage like this in rayman 4, This stage is cool, long, good music, sometimes a little bit scary. The only stage ubisoft has released for rayman 4 yet is Sky temple

Although the third game was more fun to play, Rayman 2 has a real mystical quality that really captured the sense of adventure about the whole universe. A classic series before they turned it into a party game...

I don't get it. If Umber is a guardian, video game logic usually states that guardian's often try and murder you; why doesn't Umber like... Y'know, attack or try to end your existence at all? O_o

I don't understand it either. Unless they wanted to break the usual "they're out to get you" chain where this one actually sort of helps you.

Maybe they just designed the guardian to be this way. Instead of a defense keeper, it's a bigger puzzle.

@Saestrol The psx version supports more utscenes between sanctuaries and the one before this states that Ly communicated with Umber to help Rayman

@Saestrol In fact, in the PS1 version, Umber (AKA Colossus) actually wanted Rayman to have the mask. Axel just wanted to fight, and Foutch was just crazy.

Supposedly there is no boss. Umber is a guardian but it seems like he's not out to get you.

I really haven't found a good way to explain why so I guess it's okay.

That's the Rayman 2 on the PS1. If you are looking to see Ninjaws, Teddybear123 did that level. He fights pretty crazy from what I saw.

On the PS1, there is a robot named "Ninjaws" that you fight in this level. He's one tough pirate in that version of Rayman 2.

I don't know if that was the case in the PS1 version but each sanctuary ends with collecting a mask, after confronting the guardian.

Yeah in the n64 version there was a ninja-pirate at the end, think it kinda compensates for umber not being a guardian 'boss', still enjoying the vids keep em coming :D

I think you are talking about the pirate during the middle of the Prison Ship. The one that shoots fire.

There is NO boss at the end of the temple. Umber just moves to the end.

On the PS1 version, Ninjaws is the endboss of 2th mask. On the PS2 version there isnt, but there is an end boss for the 4th mask... AND HE IS REALLY HARD!

Yes there is ... His name is Grolem 13, looks just like Axel (from TSOWAI) but is a bit lighter. He preforms wind attacks, to defeat him you'll need to shoot all clouds that are coming to him to preform a thunder cloud that hits him in his head, do this 3 times and you win. Man that was SO difficult. It took me 10 minutes to complete that one.

And if you check the Mines In N64, DC, PS1, where baby globox's are captured. You get the 4th mask but in the PS2 you'll get a rain mask. BTW: OFF-TOPIC!

I get the feeling that this "boss"' only trick was making you jump at the end of the lava.
