What is this "run me" folder you keep speaking of? You should specify which program you're using. None of the software I'm using to jailbreak has any sort of "run me" file.

@asamaroo2 the run me exe, I got it from the fist unofficial snow folder that came out . you can try download it by type on google the unofficialsnow folder . then if you can find it somewhere you'll find the run me exe in it>>

when in dfu mode does ur ipod have a black light on or nothing?

@BensonBarretto it has nothing .. when is on that mode you having access to the main system and it will not display anything on that moment .. till you start doing the jailbreake.

@onceforall12 I cant do step by step anymore because the unofficial folder was located on a website that is gone by now, and cant download it now . but you can try to find it by typing on google (THE UNOFFICIALSNOW FOLDER FREE DOWNLOAD) and if you find it you'll find the run me exe in there as well...
