James Cameron's paved the way for almost 3 decades of how Alien's are perceived by all its fans. I love this movie the best and I cannot see another Alien movie without Colonial Marines or Pulse Rifle's or the classic motion tracker sounds ever again.

Sorry, but I'm at a position to dislike Prometheus, merely because Ridley Scott is totally disregarding all that greatness that Aliens added to the franchise.

I can't believe I actually thought Aliens was a good movie when I was younger. The casting was poor, the acting worse and the story boring. After seeing quite a few movies where James Horner has composed the score, all I can say is "yawn"! Sure, he's written some nice themes, but it all sounds the same! Calling Aliens "epic" is an insult to the true classic from 1979.

I didn't like Inception that much so I cannot say about that one but Aliens and The Dark Knight are totally different movies so there wouldn't be much point in comparing them.
