Now - Let me give you computer-screen addicts what a screen reader is.
A screen reader pretty much blabs out speech of what's on the screen. To me, I am sighted, but if I can, I use JAWS or Super Nova on my PC systems. It's a much more futuristic thing. Learning shortcut commands, NOT USING THE MOUSE, and finding a comfortable synthesizer. It's truly something rewarding when you're able to use it. Trust me, it adds some spice to how computers are used.
Hi many thanks for this, I am currently writing a report on accessibility testing and found your video on screen readers interesting, it would be great to hear more about some of the issues with using websites and any ideas you have to improve websites for people like yourself. Many thanks again.
I'm glad someone is doing this - I was thinking about doing it if I could find a screen capture for Windows and do this very thing using JAWS. My question is what is your take on Window Eyes vs. JAWS?
I love the Over There - Even those of us who are visually impaired hate "over there"

Cathy Ann I loved your essay on "Over There." I too am visually impaired and you made me laugh. Keep on making videos.

Hi CathyAnn
Your a great storyteller. I'm doing research on computerlessons for the visually impaired. Maybe you have a story about that subject.
