  • Does the phrase "Oh, Poopey" come to anyone else's mind here? Think MST3K & the Evil Dr. Forrester. His assistant was also named "Frank" btw. Just once, at the end of 2001, I really want the Starchild to look at the Earth, look at the audience, and say "Oh, Poopey!"

  • you also need to know that even though the fetus is considerd non human until it goes out the flaps... That this star child will look human and talk human and it can die so know one thing it is still human not god....This movie is really about everything really man vs machine , Adeventure and Homer's epic the odyssey

  • So, Dave Baby is God???

  • @Phlemberg He became god see after Dave became that very, very old man he died and the Monoliths made him drastically evolutionize him to where he is a Godlike being that is called a Star Child that Monotlih takes him back to Earth and the Star Child destroys all the Nuclear Weapons and whats funnny is the star child is the next phase in human evolution:the other thing is Dave is no more so that Star Child isnt really dave

  • @Phlemberg It looks like Dave evolves into a god, but the sequels clarify that he's nothing like a god. Dave had been a slave to an unfeeling establishment, represented by Heywood Floyd. Now, he's a slave to the soulless Monolith, that only uses him as a probe. The sequel novels hint at some contact with the alien intelligence that built the Monolith, but mainly, they let this amazingly adaptive but still non-conscious machine enslave Dave's downloaded spirit & turn him on & off as needed.

  • to me this movie means evolution....from apes to apes with sticks. then, from sticks to spaceships....from beast to man and from man to "star child"

  • @bilal216 very true!!! freind

  • Anyone else mindfucked?

  • @jakxcombat ive been shagged backwards

  • Dave is becoming the aliens just like HAL was in 2010 there you go.this scne shows dave inside the huge monolith and hes becoming a star child.when he goes back to earth he destroys all the nuclear weapons because the aliens told him to do so.

  • @SuperColonel77 You sir are a genius!!!!!

  • sad enough to say that some people don't understand this movie at all.

  • WHAT DOES IT MEAN?!

  • other movies also used affects like the end in this one... the black hole (when they entered into the hole) and star trek the voyage home... (going backward into time) the key diffrence is length of time in those shots and relevance to the story. this end was garbage.

  • this show was doing good all the way to Jupiter but fell completely apart at that point... the story was lost in the visual images which at the time may have been impressive but are now like.... so what and why the hell are you wasting my time

  • Until you see the movie to the end, and see the ending twice, and then wait till the credits are over to understand it, it might seem like a stupid movie. Once you arrive to that "eureka" moment, you just smile and say: It's a great movie

  • When we die we will not be reborn in space...

    ok !?

Old movies are always like this, even star trek TNG did this. If this movie is pure science, then it won't be soo obscure about the last part.

  • all these comments have merit overall but they seem to me a bit of an over analysis of a f### movie.years ahead of its time ,and i have to say ,all things being equal,i would gladly change places with any one at the opening of 2001 a space odyssey in 1968

  • this is the kind of movie that only some sort of ppl can understand and like and above all , comprehend, .......the yonkies, just kidding anyway is great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • This movie had great potential, I feel the plot and theme was lost in the artsy view of the film (its not a movie). If they spent a little more on the story and less on the visuals it would have been awesome. I dont mind mystery in movies or cliff hangers but this was just taken to a whole extreme that you will never see in another movie outside an art studio. Basically this film has influenced every great Science fiction film ...up until Jupiter... past that it was down hill and just bad .

  • pleadians?

  • i dont get it.

  • The spaceship is shaped like a spermz 0:

  • As for the most fans The Shining is my favourite movie of Kubrick. Ive never seen Strangelove and i fear i would not like it at all. But i really enjoyed Clockwork Orange, Full Metal Jacket and parts of Barry Lyndon/Lyndyn

  • I really like the significance of 2:12.

I don't really know what Kubrick meant for Bowman to break the glass; probably to move the story along to the "Star Child" transformation. To me, this part indicates a sort of "lesson."

No matter how pristine, clean and orderly the surrounding environment, a human being can STILL make the most basic mistakes.

  • what a boring movie.

  • @fantomx28 My first time watching this, I said the same thing. Every time I watch it, I notice new thing and get a better understanding of the story so it keeps getting better and better. Now it's one of my all time favorite films.

  • @abcdefh1992 yeah i never said it wasnt good i just said it was boring.

  • @fantomx28 Care to develop the statement ?

  • @rotwei do you mean why its boring?

  • @fantomx28 yepp

  • @rotwei as im sure you know the movie is separated into 4 parts, the dawn of man, the moon sequence, the battle with hal, and the jupiter sequence. in the dawn of man sequence nothing happens but the overabundance of classical music infused in overlong takes. when something feels like its about to happen at the monolith all we get is overbearing music and a cut away to the next part of the film. The dawn of man sequence does involve some sort of action but it comes across as cheesy.

  • @fantomx28 Good point, my arguments would be invalid, you are right. Then again its a matter of taste/opinion

  • @fantomx28 in the dawn of man portion, the monolith came and gave consciousness to the apes, and they started using tools.

  • @IlersichProductions sorry i menat the moon sequence in that part of my response. i was referring to the part on the moon when they ivestigate the monolith and all we get is loud music and a highpitched noise and then nothing

  • @fantomx28 it was sending out a radio signal that pointed to the monolith on jupiter.

  • @IlersichProductions yes i am aware of this i have watched the movie

  • @rotwei the hal sequence is the best part of the film but it takes to long for the suspense to build up and the payoff isnt big enough, and just when you think you are about to get some answers all the guy does on the tv screen is tell you what we already seen happen on the moon. this means the whole moon sequence coulda been left out of the film and just be explained in the scene with hals death like it was and the movie woulda been exactly the same.

  • @fantomx28 The jupiter sequence was a similair moment for me. The opening really caught my attention at first but you could say that this movie is so artistic that it looses its entertainment value

  • @rotwei for the final part i understand kubric wanted the audience to build their own ending for the movie and i respect that but that certainly does not make it great. there is no build up with the jupiter sequence it meerely just happens and we are left wondering what just happened. i understand to truly appreciate this film you need to watch it multiple times, but at the same time it shouldnt take a person 3 viewings to like something.

  • @fantomx28 Then we both agree that he has done better movies ?

  • @rotwei oh yes i happened to love dr. strangelove, its been a while since ive seen full metal jacket probably about 8 years but i remember enjoying it. the same with the shinning but thats probably about 5 or 4 years since my last viewing

  • @rotwei and finally, was this movie great? no. was it good? yes. techincally its a masterpeice in science-fiction. the cinematography is excellent as well as kubrics composition. but just because its compostion is great, that doesnt mean the actuall film is great. the acting is very good at times but awkward and cheesy at other times. out of everything this film has going for it, its lacking one important thing, heart.

  • @fantomx28 As Stephen King said about kubrick once: He is a man who thinks to much and feels to little, and in this movie id say its pretty clear. The plot isnt very engaging since its up for the person to build his own picture and theres more questions then answears. It also requires some degree of knowledge of the book to get the bigger picture

  • @rotwei 1. imo, building your own picture is more engaging

    2. he intended to raise questions and make you think with this film

    3. i haven't read the book, yet i still love the movie and noticed several themes, like isolation and evolution

  • Horrible ending. It doesn't add anything to the story and also, this movie should be shown to kids. Its a great example to not do drugs. It's a good movie, but the beginning and the end suck.

  • @PJs920 Its Kubrick man, hes known for the his artistic visions in movies. Dont like it don watch his movies. And yes you are right its a boring ending, but still not a good example to prevent drug taking. (ofc i know you are kidding)

  • @rotwei No, i liked it, is just that the beginning is pointless, although kinda interesting, and the rest of the movie is spaceships flying around to music. But Hal is pretty awesome, though (Oh, and I watched this because I liked Kubrick's "Dr. Strangelove")

  • @PJs920 how was the beginning pointless?

  • @LegendaryNightChief It just shows how weapons were invented. It doesn't explain anything about the plot.

  • @PJs920 I know what you mean by pointless, we all want to see something profound, with meaning, that touches our souls but in reality it is just a random sequence made by one mans vision.. great movie. Thanks for the upload.

  • a 1968 classic ,tell me you fucking fools ,if i am wrong

  • What a piece of shit ! One of the ugliest movie ever, no doubt. How can somebody can have such a bad taste ? Everything is ugly and kitsch in this movie. The end breaks all records in bad taste and visual ugliness. Another hollywood made piece of crap.

  • And the Moral of the story is: "Computers can lipread."

  • @charlottesetsu Was? Computer brauchen Lippgloss?

  • @charlottesetsu hahahahahaha

  • I'm not really certain to think of this movie... I did enjoy the use of classical music, the use of silence in the vacuum of space, the visuals were really good and I enjoyed the design of the space equipment, and the cinematography were amazing. Also HAL made this movie entertaining as a horror element but I felt his execution and interactions could have been better plotted out.

From what I understand the monolith has something to do with knowledge and death and life, but I hate the ending.

  • There seems to be two distinct groups of people when it comes to this movie -- Those who love it and those who hate it. I happen to love it. Look, if you hate it, give it another try somewhere down the road. Kubrick's movies are notorious for being better on repeated viewings. You have to be willing to think outside the box on EVERYTHING you know or think you know about movies when it comes to "2001."

  • @reving19 Third group: people like me - huge fans - who didn't understand it the first time but put some time into figuring it out. Have a sympathetic and Really Smart Friend helps. The story IS all there. It's just not explained by the Wise Scientist you'd always have in pre-"2001" films.

  • My Mind is going.....

  • i dont get this endibg my brain is full of nubd fycj1/

  • See the really elderly guy in the big huge bed? Oooohhh! Now, THAT is SCARY!! :O

  • foetus without mother . Truly inhuman.

  • I definitely think that the "Hotel in Washington" scenes in this movie were to portray a "laboratory environment" for Bowman made by the race that created the Monolith.

In Clarke's "3001: The Final Odyssey," the Monoliths were ordered and programmed by this alien race to destroy humanity for being a threat toward the Europans being developed by them.

Perhaps Bowman "failed" to meet this race's expectations even after he was transformed to "The Star Child" and then the "Guardian of Europa."

  • (cont) I found this Flash animation explaining the film in more detail but not too dissimilar to my interpretation but more fun... I can't post the link properly so...

    uuu(dot)kubrick2001(dot)com

  • (Cont...) Also it might also be a symbolic variant on the religious theme. .The man at the dinner table and in the bed was Bowman at various stages in his life. When he died, he was reborn (in heaven) as pure spirit. As far as the apes are concerned, the obelisk like the tree of knowledge of good and evil (consiousness). Apart from learning to use tools, they learned to kill other life for food, where as before they chewed roots. Both my interpretations have the same theme though.

  • I think the message is Man evolving to a higher level of existance. The primative apes gained intelligence when they touched the black obelisk and then Man evolved. They learned to use the bones as tools & "Weapons of Ape Destruction" (WMD). Old ways gone, Man is born, Man has evolved. When Dave Bowman was about to die but reached out to the black obelisk. When he did so, he was reborn as a higher being. Birth-death cycle - renewel - change - evolving. Its all about the accent of Man.

  • we are all Universal Children,i watched this movie 73 /74 this great film has true meaning i watched it with my late great mum and dad ,life is hard its a journey.

  • WTF? Where was the plot? Where were the characters?

It's a sorry state when Leonard Rossiter is the best actor in a movie.

Very pretty for the 60's, so I understand why it was a success, but really - you could have written the script over a weekend.

  • @idedesign That's a pretty simplistic understanding of what a film plot "has" to be about... Bet you're not such a great fan of "Lost In Translation" either. I don't know why people have to go about films that way, I just don't get it and probably never will.

  • Maybe as a piece of art this movie was alright, but the character development was awful tbh. If you asked me to describe the main characters without mentioning their names, appearances or jobs I'd be speechless..Why would I care about their lives or wellbeing if I didn't even know anything about them. Both had really bland personalities and there was no way to identify with them. The only 'person' which had some motives and personality was HAL -_-

  • 11 people are still apes

  • someone please tell me what the hell just happend

  • @Akralaa Well, it's obvious...your mind was blown.

  • @bighorn2004 For some reason your comment made me laugh so thumps up

  • Uh.

WELL, time to go read the book!

  • please explain the ending of this movie.. Dave somehow ends up in a claasy house, this guy is eating dinner, he dissapeares then this old guy is in a bed and becomes a fetus? and is in space... How am i the only confused one? what symbolic message?

  • @4PacHooptiRida 4th dimensional maybe?

  • @fatony26 no, the fourth dimension is touch, 5th dimension is time.

  • @stawaz damn, I ve been lied to by every single article Ive ever read.. maybe we should tell the people that write what I read that they are wrong.. Ill start with stephen hawking and Michio Kaku, who are you gonna inform?

  • @4PacHooptiRida he crossed through a multi dimensional gateway which practically ripped the space time continueum

  • @4PacHooptiRida

On his death bed it looks like Dave was reaching out to the monolith, and was reborn as a giant space fetus, at the start of the movie the apes also reached out and touched the monolith and that may have "gave birth" to humanity. Maybe the monolith could symbolize evolution and transcendence beyond a primitive form?

  • Okay, we all know that Muslims have a pretty bad wrap. But COME ON they aren't ALL BAD!!!!

  • Why is it that people have still not learned to not feed the very obvious troll on this board? Is it because they think they can ultimately come to some manner of reasoned debate, and thusly win? Trust me I've dealt with this before, it doesn't work, the whole point of the troll is to keep argument as far away from reason as possible. Just stop talking to it.

  • beautiful and thought provoking in contrast to the majority of people commenting here.

  • I hate how people insult muslims... It's there choice, leave them alone. If you can't give a decency of respect then just fucking die.

  • @TurboTheTurtwig

    You're a fucking idiot.

    Yes, all muslims are bad.

    You stupid motherfucking ignorant shithole.

    Were all Nazi's bad? No.

But, you know, as well as I do, that all Nazi's are bad.

Muslims cower under the Religion of Peace banner, but kill more people per year then any other cult ideology.

You DO realize Pislam is a cult? No? Didn't think so, you liberal wanker.

Perhaps the millions of pictures and videos I've seen could convince u otherwise?

No? Fuck u and die, bitch.

  • @stargroove4

What you just said is wrong.

    1. Not all Muslims are bad.

    2. Ignorant idiot.

    3. Some were scared of Hitler infact.

    4. ^^

    5. It's there choice you mean bitch.

    6. It's also a religion!

    7. JESUS CHRIST IT'S A RELIGION. ISLAMITY IS A FRIGGING RELIGION.

    8. Grow up kid.

  • @TurboTheTurtwig

    9.Wrong.

    10. Die in a fire bitch.

  • @TurboTheTurtwig Are you just thinking really fast or typing really fast? ...im confused

  • This film was worth watching purely for its use of sound. My fucking god did it use sound exceptionally. And then the stuff at the end... wow. This film was amazing.

  • All right guys, take it easy. Film is an art, and like art (painting for example) each person takes out of it something fifferent. This picture is someone's cp of tea and for someone else, boring, confusding, whatever. If someone doesn't understand what they see or don't like it, they are free to think the way they do. If you understand it and enjoy it, then continue to do so.

  • WTFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF

  • X_X Totally confused and O_O

  • they should make a remake of this movie!

  • @pinkygirl1999 That request is effectively a request to have this film killed, cut into tiny pieces, and burned to a fine white ash... In my opinion, at least, this film should remain in its original form.

  • @pinkygirl1999

They should repaint the Mona Lisa while "they're" at it.

  • This movie is a brainwash with subliminal injection of number of illuminati symbols. Good job NWO guys.

  • @mareq133 i think ur opinion is the only one that makes sense out of all this

  • @mareq133

Yep, the craziest fuckers I've ever seen were 2 types.

    Jesus Freaks and Illuminati.

BTW, I believe in the Illumati, but to attribute universal shapes i.e. circles, triangles, into everything you see, is well, you crazy fuck, just plain fucking crazy, you stupid crazy fuck.

  • Beautiful.

Evolution. That's what it all is.

  • WHAT THE FUCK DOES THIS MEAN!!!!!!!!

  • i think this movie scarred me for life, especially at the very end with the fetus, that is fucked up

  • @MKDgangster

The "Fetus" is the Star Child....

and Star Child zooms past the eart, killing everything...

  • WHAT IN THE FUCK

  • Pause at 6:12

Glenn Beck was in this movie!

  • Also bear in mind that for a movie made in the 60's it actually has some pretty decent camerawork and special effects. When first watching it I thought it was made in the early 80's.

  • People that didn't appreciate this movie are the type of people that make this world bland, materialistic, and superficial. I won't pretend to know all of the intricacies

and philosophical messages that this movie has, but you don't have to understand a film in its entirety to appreciate it as art.

  • Call me boring, but that movie could have been a third as long and not cut anything of substance. Seriously, what would have been the difference if the light show at the end had been 30 seconds instead of 5 minutes?

Ditto for all the space flight scenes. If it weren't Stanley Kubrick, everyone would be calling that stuff FILLER. But because he's famous, everyone pretends it's high art.

I readily admit to a lack of imagination, but I don't understand anything after he gets to Jupiter.

  • @1andy2 I'm not one to jump onto the "band wagon" so quickly, I am highly sceptical of hyped *insert anything you like - directors, actors, bands, etc.* myself. I actually liked the film and even the length of it because it keeps you hanging. I think it's really just about the immediate effect it has on you.

  • @Sparksterfu i agree. nuf said.

  • @Sparksterfu People like you are are the type of People who likes to prejudice every single person in the world who didnt liked this movie. While ive had the same thoughts and meanings as youve written here, I consider myself grown up mentally enough to see how this is not better then any other film. Sure in our perspective this movie is a work of genious, but for others this movie is just bad, and i can see why they think that, AND i respect that. I guess im to old for YT commenting.

  • @rotwei

No sir, you're too damn smart for youtube commenting. THAT'S the problem. I suppose I don't dislike this movie, I just... hate most of it's overzealous fans.

  • @Grungadin No hard feelings man, just checking :)

  • @Sparksterfu

    well spoken

  • @Sparksterfu This might be the only film of it's type I know of that tops Close Encounters of the Third Kind, and the first couple star wars films for how deep and thought provoking it is. I seem to see it about every 10 years of my life. I'm 38 yrs old and still can't say I entirely understand it but I feel like my soul understands it. I saw it in the theatre on a re-release when I was a kid and There's no way a small screen can do it justice visually. It's a pure treasure for our world.

  • @Sparksterfu

And you are a pretentious asshole. You don't appreciate Twilight? Well you just don't understand it's intricacies. I can bet anything you thought the new Batman or Iron man movies were brilliant, or some other mainstream garbage with little substance similar to those movies, but you are going to judge people who dislike a movie you are a bit too fanatic about? I think people like you make the world a far worse place.

  • @Grungadin Batman and Ironman were fantastic entertainment, it succeeds far beyond from what this movie did in terms of action. 2001 is different, 2001 really is fascintating BUT also so fucking boring when you compare how the movie industry is nowadays, and let me take the liberty of saying that theres nothing wrong with the movie industry today. And please the people who makes the world "worse" is the ones who judges others for their opinion.

  • @rotwei There's nothing wrong with the movie industry today? Do you REALLY believe that? ^^ Well, I won't go deeper into this, just wanted to know... It's like Inception that only gained its FINANCIAL credibility by inserting about a thousand action scenes, which did seem appropriate in some parts but throughout the whole movie I just thought "Well, that's pretty predictable, typically blockbuster". Apart from that, brilliant film...

  • @chubbyfacejohn Ill be honest with you man, Im wrong, the movie industry is a fucking mess, but i wouldnt have it any other way though, Inception truly is a good movie and deserves the money it got. My point is that the good stuff gets so much better when theres much crappy movies. I say: Let Hollywood do their thing, the minority of people who dislikes cash grinding movies cant change the fact that money goes first in such a big industry. We just gotta stick with the good stuff :)

  • @Sparksterfu I would lie if i said that this movie sucked, it doesnt. But it sure as hell gets you bored quickly. And what u said about others being materialistic, bland and superficial is all prejudice lies. We all appreciate different kinds of movies, and i will of course not bash you for liking this classic. But then again in return dont bash others who actuallt might happen to like movies such as "300". Now ill be of to watch The Shining which is the best movie in my (biased) opinion lol :)

  • @Sparksterfu

I think this movie would be a profound, if rather difficult experience with psychedelics. I mean to try it some time.

  • @odenskrigare I actually thought about it and I think I'd rather do without the psychedelics... I don't want to imagine it...

  • @chubbyfacejohn

depends on what you take I guess

the one I have most immediately available is morning glory, as morning glory seeds are legal in the US

whenever I take them I become extremely relaxed after a while and don't want to move much

it would be hard to freak me out

  • @Sparksterfu People like You are IDIOTS. This movie made absolutely NO sense whatsoever, and was a complete waste of time that I will never get back...

  • @Thirdgen83

Actually this movie makes perfect sense. You are simply too stupid to understand it without help. What didn't you understand about this film? Ask any questions, I will answer them for you

  • @KillSwitch2 The one who brags about his smartness is like a prisoner whos proud about his big cell. Be humble. And please dont judge people who didnt understand the movie.

  • Panspermia? Fail! Can't quite get the beginning right. yet, can you? In the beginning...

  • hahaha none of this shit happend in 2001 and even now. this movie is a fail

  • @mrolymp You're a moron.

  • Don't buy cheap glass.

  • the life of the dead is a place in the memory of the living.

  • didn´t understand the meaning of the movie . at all. anyone else know what the meaning is?

  • @amjedamjedlive

This is just like the Book thus spoke zarathustra. Each time that a part ended it would end with the words thus spoke zarathustra- (the song of the same name by strauss) would play when man achieved a part of evolution. Like the movie mankind has had its ups and its down; this final part is where man probably reached its height from being a prehistoric animal and will repeat everything again after its demise like Nietzsche's Eternal recurrence from thus spoke zarathustra.

  • @amjedamjedlive

he leaves it open to interpretation, but the gist is that the evolution of life on earth was not left to chance. First were the monkeys, then the humans, then the "star child" at the end. 3 different stages of evolution created by interaction with the Monolith.

  • @amjedamjedlive

You're a fucking muslim parasite living in Sweden.

All you know is 9 year old girls are great for fucking, along with donkeys and camels, and anyone non islamic should die.

Why on Earth would some sand nigger have any inclination remotely close to reasoning a movie about...

    nope, won't tell you.

I hope you die, a horrible, painful death. Don't ever troll your ignorance on any other Kubrick films.

You muslim piece of ignorant shit. I hope you fucking die, stupid bitch. Worthless.

  • @stargroove4

I'm atheist and I find that racist.

  • @TurboTheTurtwig

Yeah, muslim idiots and liberal fags are ALWAYS trying to associate Pislam with race.

I find you to be misinformed, and generally just down right stupid.

  • @stargroove4

I find you racist and that you need to learn respect for religion.

I hate it but I don't spout racist things.

  • @TurboTheTurtwig Learn respect for religion?

pislam isn't a religion you idiot, it's a death cult founded by a pedophilewho murdered

    and robbed caravans.

I have zero amount of respect for any muslims or liberal fags who defend the convert or die borg death cult.

Go away, you have proved just how stupid you are by thinking islam has anything to do with race.

    Stupid idiot.

  • @stargroove4

Yes it is, search it up.

People are allowed to believe what they want, it's there choice! I hate religion but I don't go around calling muslims and hindu's names now do I?

NOT all Muslims are bad you numpty: It's like saying all British people are bad for enslaving millions of africans....

Learn to respect other cultures you selfish little fuck.

  • @TurboTheTurtwig

British people built Africa you idiot.

When they left, it turned into one of the world's biggest shit hole.

Why don't you go live a week in africa and find out for yourself.

Really, you should be taken out back and shot like the damn dog you are.

Then your parents should be executed for even having you and not putting you out of your own fucking ignorant misery.

May you die of cancer, everyone you know, love, care about.

Rot, your ignorance is beyond stupid.

    You should die.

  • @stargroove4 I find more often than not that those whom call others sheep are sheep themselves. Take your dogmatic sentiment elsewhere, for you are no different than the faith you proclaim to hate.

I eagerly await your response. Please make as many vile statements as you wish. :)

Side note: I agree that religion , the Muslim faith included , has no real place in society, and only serves as a handicap to progress and personal freedom, but your haughty demeanor is quite annoying.

  • @stargroove4

Man your fucking insane, who the fuck do you think you are, stupid . You hate religion? hate muslims? Man your brain washed, look for yourself, your a slave under your own nation. living a hell life, expressing hatred against muslims?

  • @stargroove4 First of all your stupid hater you don´t look at the extreemist in the religion islam is not the terrorist saying "alah akbar", look for the book read it then you talk bullshit. the extremmist has nothing to do with religion.

  • @stargroove4 Look at your race, living their life totaly unaware of their life what happens following their desire lika animals. again I don´t have anything against atheist nor muslims. I´m against stupid haters like you that lives a slavery life. I I feel sorry for you my friend.

  • no i love space scifi, but this was just painful.

  • And for all those people wondering....

Kubrick didn't show the Star Child going past the earth and destroying everything....

One has to die, if to be reborn.

this movies is sheer genius. Probably my 10th time in watching.

  • @stargroove4 How can someone watch this movie 2 times, let alone 10 times!? Im not saying this movie sucks, but damn I think watching it once is enough.

  • @JoseMP55555

It all started when, in highschool (art class), this guy (very smart and funny, talented etc)

started talking about Pink Floyd's the Wall.

He decribed it as stupid, didnt understand it, yadda yadda.

I love the Wall so much, I made armbands for all my friends using a sewing machine. I can play the entire Piece on guitar. I sing harmonies, and melodies in perfect pitch with the band.

So it's just taste, patience, etc.

Maybe the LSD, Shrooms, Salvia, Datura, & THC opened my eyes.

  • this movie....was fucking terrible. Truly just boring. it took forever to get to the point and i still just dont get what was going on....

  • @152Ron

  • @stargroove4 A well educated opinion sir ! A pleasent mixture of trolling, pessimism and ignorance :D

  • @rotwei hee hee, but I've got the 15 "thumbs ups" behind me...

  • @stargroove4 You should have more thumbs up, considering how many idiots there are on this planet

  • @rotwei

Perhaps you should stop showing all the "idiots" out there, just how "smart" you are.

    Feeeeeeeel the sarcasm.

    Douchebag.

  • @stargroove4 Im aware that trying to educate the world will fail miserably. Im just stating a common sense point that you should not judge people just because they think different, but instead of replying with something else other then "coughfuckingstupidcough" you have proven yourself how inferior you are to respond properly, Oh well YT is known to be populated by hateful fools that cant accept critique. Putting all my manners beside you are the douche, I wont reply if its another "troll" post!

  • @stargroove4

Maybe noone gives a shit about what you think?

    Ever "think" of that, genius?

You truly are a boring person, and no, the "world" doesn't need your "education".

  • @stargroove4 And the world doesnt need ignorant douchebags like you
