@tokyoVENUSgirl I don't soak brazil nuts. Most nuts, even "raw" nuts, imported into the USA have been pasteurized or processed in such a way that they wouldn't sprout anyway.
Thanks so much for this video. The foods are so normal. Also, do you first blend your greens and then add to the juiced fruits? Otherwise, your juice must be very crunchy. Love your channel/show/youtube...station. :-)
Someone who thinks like me. I've done lots of Juicing when going raw & made my own recipes. I'm going back to raw foods, so I'm thinking of Juicing & throwing it into a smoothie. :)
@DigiScrap34 Well, I've gotten better with blended spinach and romaine. However, carrots, celery, cucumbers, I just prefer to juice them first. My favorite smoothie is two ripe bananas, half avocado, coconut milk, coconut water, spinach...maybe agave syrup or honey. It's so yummy. I got the recipe from Rochelle Hanson. Enjoy going back to raw foods! I feel so much better when I'm eating healthy. Don't know why I don't stick to it all the time. :-/
@Phyle9, off hand, I' don't know how juicing affects calories. As long as all the sugars were separated from the pulp into the juice, the calories should be the same or similar, but I'm not sure to what degree juicing affects overall calories.
Do you have an idea how many calories are in a juice? Like let's say 1.5Liter of: - 1 cucumber - 2 carrots - 1 apple - 1 bell pepper (minus the stem) - good bunch of spinach - whole head of celery (including leafs) - 1 tomato - piece of onion - piece of ginger Would that be like 1000 kcal? or only like only 400-500?
You food looks yummy! The only thing I noticed though was that your banans are still green. Bananas aren't ripe until they start haveing brown spots all over them.
I did not know to keep the pit in the Avocado to prevent browness, thanks! Does lemon juice work as well?

@Nosaltypeanut We don't juice. The greens go into fruit smoothies, and the rest of the fruit is eaten in a fruit salad. Thanks for watching!

Is there a way to measure the nutritious content (especially caloric) or juices?
I mean juices, not smoothies.
I always wonder how much calories i get from my jucies...?!?

I'm not a juicer. I blend!

@Phyle9 I've read that you should multiply the amt of fiber by 4 and subtract it from the total calories. Hope that helps.

@Nosaltypeanut
So fiber has no calories? interesting... never thought about that actually...

@Phyle9 I've read that your body can't digest it but uses it as a natural laxative.
