I agree in a sense... it's one of the best FFs, not better than 9 or 12 though but definitly up there with them. if it deserves a sequal depends on if said sequal is of good quality storywise ;) (FF7 is an awsome games, just a tad overrated)

nah dude, i'm totally with you. from the very first time i saw ff4 at a friend's house when i was i think 11 (1991 i believe), i fell in love. ever since then, it's been my favorite ff and i cannot wait to play this despite the concerns i've been hearing. i loved the ff4 so much that in my computer class, i wrote a fanfic prequel of it where cecil was a squire/apprentice or something and the king of baron was a just leader. i even made the cover look like the box cover art of ff2.

It's not decided on what system it will be yet, but i think that it might come out for DS (with improved graphics, bet 2D anyway...)

or PSP, with graphics like FF1 and FF2

The PS2 is discontinued aswell, and yet they still release titles for it. It is not uncommon for an old system to get a few more titles added to it, even after it's alleged 'death'. And with The DS being backwards compatible, it can play GBA cartridges just fine, so I guess it's being released as a GBA cartridge to be played on the DS? The Wii sucks so I'm hoping it won't come to that.

Well if that's so that Nintendo made a big mistake. If the DS tries to mimic the PSP it -will- fail. And no I don't have a wii, but that's because I predicted the console's hype to end, and got a ps3 instead.
