So amazing...tears come to my eyes when i listen to srv live. Especially austin city limits shows from 83 or 89. Just cant be replaced...was only 8 yrs old when he died and didnt know who he was till i picked up my first guitar and started delving into classic rock and blues. Wish u were here still..R.I.P. SRV

@ghurricane87 I remember watching this when it aired. Austin City Limits was still quite new and was on late at night. I had never heard of SRV before this and was just taken away to a new world, watching the whole thing in the otherwise quiet aloneness of my dark living room. Magic.
