Actually it is not an Irish dance, is a Basque dance. The original instrument is called "txistu" and is like a flute with only 3 holes. They are playing the flute instead. The dance is a part of the Basque Folk. Wish I could be there!

Actually it's not a flute that is played here, but a tinwhistle (or pennywhistle), a small whistle flute made of metal. It has 6 holes.

cette danse est bien issue du folklore basque seulement c'est un fandango exécuté sur la musique du carnaval de lanz ce qui est totalement différent.
