What a fun vid! The biggest "ingredient" of art--which many non-artists don't grasp--is Time. You can have all the pencils, paper, pens and imagination in the world, but if you don't have (or make) the Time, the art won't happen.
Process question: Have you ever used Layout paper instead of tracing paper? I've always found tracing paper to be very fragile and prone to ink bleeds, but maybe that's a brand-dependent quality. ("Hanson uses Canson!" ... That'd be a marketing coup.)
as for layout paper- no i might have to give it a try. Canson does though hold extremely well up to heavy marker ink. i just have to make sure though i use the right tape (painters tape) or i will tear the paper.

that is true- time is crucial
