I think you should use a desmume emultaro it works perfectly without making any changes to the rom.

Get Lunar IPS patch to solve this, whole game is playable, unlocks folder edit, no 1 step battles.

Do you use no$gba 2.6a? if you do, google "nds bios" and put these file: BIOSGBA.ROM, biosnds7.rom, biosnds9.rom and firmware into no$gba folder, I got my game working normally that way

if ur still having problems heres what i did.

if it starts doing the virus thing again go into the cheats menu and turn off the cheat, then turn in right back on. it should work, its worked for me 99% of the time

if it still doesn't work just try again

im playing it with no$zoomer and it works great you can even play colusseum and edit folders.
