H/I/E is Header/Intake/Exhaust all Ebay stuff on the wagon ... the origina; motor i had in the coupe was a type S and honestly in my opinion the H22A was stronger than the type S ... I have a 91 honda accord LX coupe now with a F22A6 that im planning on boosting and shooting for 300WHP which is very attainable on the single cam
the H22A is rated at 200 and the type s at 220 but in my case i went from a motor that was in the car when i got it (the type s) with all stock parts to a motor i installed with the help of a friend and street tuned by another friend with crome with H/I/E and stage 1 clutch and light weight flywheel ... i think i spent about $2k on the H22A with all my added parts as compared to the $3k you have to spend to get a type s
lol when i first got going with the H22 i honestly thought it was quick but after driving it a month or so it started feeling slow ... but when i finish my new project if i meet my goal of 300 WHP i think ill be happy for a while
why most honda guys dont like to lift off the gas when they shift, this really doesnt speed up the shifting time, or if it does its so small that you wont notice. just something i noticed when i was into hondas.
they are a cheap american racing wheel i just removed the center caps and cleaned them up to look nice ... i have had them on various cars over the past 3 years but finally got rid of them
coupe sounds like it has a F-Series Tranny

oh of course, I remember that abbreviation from forums now..
i thought the h22 was rated at about 205hp, and the type-s at about 220?
regardless they are both great engines..
