As for naming the frets and not chords...my lessons are meant to be very easily understood...believe or not, some people do not know what chord they are playing when they play power chords. Hey warmachine169.. Go back and revisit dressed to kill!! Ace rocked hard on that record!! What do you think of anomoly ? I think the songs are good , aces voice and guitar tone is good , but in my opinion he doesn't showcase his classic ace leads.. Just my opinion though!! @Thesnag69 Dressed to Kill is a great album! I have a lesson up for the rhythm of Love Her All I Can but I have not yet been able to nail the solo. I also have a tutorial for She posted. As for Anomoly, it is a great album but I agree, not enough of Ace's classic leads. I guess he wanted to try something different. It is one of his best works though. I just might do some more stuff off Dressed to Kill. My fiance is going on a trip this week and I have 10 days to myself...hmmmm \,,/

@Thesnag69 Thanks for the kind words! This solo is on of his best. My favorite is Shock Me. Makin Love is a great solo too. Another great solo from Ace is the solo from Strange Ways...it is awesome!!! I will do a video for the solo. As for Tommy, he is a great guitarist but he is doing what he is told. Paul and Gene want an Ace clone! I doubt he has very much creative freedom in the band. Tommy is close to playing like Ace but not close enough \,,/

Gain: 8/10 (depending on the song...studio versions are between 7/10 - 8.5/10. Live is 8/10 or higher)

Low: 5/10

Mid: 5/10

High: 9/10

Umm, warmachine169 is doing GREAT lessons on here. If you have the new Kiss "Sonic Boom" cd, you get a extra cd with 15 classic kiss songs. Kiss re-recorded these, and NONE of them sound exactly like the ones from the albums that they were first released on! Get a clue folks! The music of Kiss is no diff than any other art form. If it sounds good... it is good.

First, thanks for checking out my video and thanks for asking a question. Every amp is different but I will tell you the settings I use. I turn my distortion/gain/overdrive (whatever you wanna call it) almost on max (about 80-85% also depends on the song and whether you play along with the live album or studio version), I turn my low up to 50%, my mid up to 50%, and my high up to about 90-95%.
