And also proves that Luciferian ideology is the root of this movement. Evolution is a critical point also because they absolutely need the evolution theory to convince people. The other funny thing is that the Anglicans who put the KJV together were more Catholic than any of the Reformers were. Their bible contained the "additional" Catholic books though they were given a lesser authority (ie: not to establish doctrine) and are still read in their churches today. Most KJV copies people have today have these books removed, as they are an abridged revision from over a century later.

Of course there was no "canon" of the Old Testament until about half a century or more after the death of Jesus, and the first (non-heretical) canon of the New Testament didn't occur until hundreds of years later. The "Protestant canon" of Scripture didn't exist until the 16th century (at best they could try to go back to Jerome who promoted the superiority of the Hebrew over the Greek, but even he accepted the Church's authority to define scripture). The canon is extra-biblical TRADITION.

The english language DID NOT EXIST at the time of the apostles. And the KJV in most people's hands today is not even the one from 1611. You can view the original Authorized Version online and it is very different from what most people think of today as the "KJV."

The books of the Bible were assembled by the Catholic Church, and finally canonized hundreds of years after they were written. Within its pages you'll find no support for the Protestant doctrines of Sola Scriptura or Sola Fide that are not also contradicted by the same scriptures. How this gets past and doesn't bother so many modern day Protestants is a mystery to me...

The Romans didn't invent Christianity, sorry, it was founded by some Hellenized Jews, and flourished for nearly 350 years before it gained any Imperial status. When I saw that movie, I really admired the 2nd and 3rd sections of it which addressed 9/11 & Banking fraud respectively but never gave much attention to the 1st part which was riddled with holes and incorrect statements. There was a sequel to this movie called "Zeitgeist Addendum". While the 1st half of it made sense, I began to suspect something fishy in the 2nd half. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew with parts in Aramaic, but at the time of Jesus, most Jews were using the Septuagint which was an ancient and venerable Greek translation. The New Testament was written in Koine Greek. English didn't even exist as a language at the time.

Here a supposedly "apostate" Church lead by a bisexual man (that's for those folks who insist that Westcott and Hort were sinners, so their translation couldn't possibly be reliable) makes a bible translation nearly 400 years ago and suddenly that's the end of bible scholarship? I'd like to see you prove Sola Scriptura!
