I dont understand how you're not famous. I mean Justin Bieber, and Kesha can? I guess American society settles with less. Oh well, I'll continue to admire. Your voice is excellent, continue the movement of real music!
beautiful as always, i have been follwing you for a few years and everytime i hear you i am left speechless, you have something that gets into the blood, your gift is your voice. xxxxxxx
Firstly: YOU ARE AMAZING. Your voice is so smooth - sort of reminds me of Cat Stevens. You're a great guitarist. Skillful. And I LOVE your original music. Sex and Trainwrecks is one of my favourite songs now.
I think you should cover Jack Johnson - anything by him would be fantastic by you. And I want more originals!
If you lived in Canada, I would totally set up shows for you, no problem. Line them all up. Why don't you live here in T.O.? lol. Oh, that's jargon for Toronto.
So many guitarists try to cover Dylan, but I think you succeeded. It was Dylanesque, but not so to the point of imitation. I heard you, not a copy of Dylan. Great song choice.
I found you through a Hem cover, and LOVE your rendition of Tennessee Waltz. The vibrato is like a young Elvis Presley on that track.
I saw on a couple other comment streams that you were working on a CD. Did that ever pan out?
Brilliant cover. I actually came across your account quite a while ago, could never be bothered before, and with all of the people already saying it i didn't bother to add to your praise. But i finally decided to add my voice to the throng of supports, so i have created an account to say that i think your music is absolutely brilliant, keep it up and i definitely hope you will get a recording deal in the future. Keep up the good work.
just come across you by accident...What a cracking version. One of the comments compares you to Fretkillr and you deserve all the praise. Many of Dylans songs become very repetitive when sung without interpretation. This one doesn't - flawless picking - try alice's restaurant (because I can't do it)
Wow! It's not terribly often that a youtube cover blows me away. But, I'm blown away. You are quite talented. I'm looking forward to seeing more videos. Thanks for posting this.
You playing and singing in your own way. And this way is very good. Not one of those coverversions, which attempt to sing and play like Dylan. There herar only two coverversions on You Tube, who are as well as Dylans song. Yours and Fretkillrs.
Hey, since Moonsyne brought Peter, Paul, and Mary... What do you think about covering 'Light One Candle?' You definitely have the vocal range to cover Yarrow's low end.
Back on track - this was an awesome rendition of this song. Great playing.
you creat a own style of yours in singing .. this is what we cant find in many pro singers...in some songs may be would be better to sing 1 full note higher ..just a suggestion.. in both high and low notes you sound very good... i am a pro singer but really liked your singing... keep on ...
Damn Daniel....once again you spanked it. I could write a comment after every song you sing. That would clog the comment section....I'll ust leave comments to my favorites and this is one of them. Great Job!!! Keep em going!! Jaime Out!!!!!!!!
I was wondering which version you think you were singing/playing, the Bob Dylan one or the Peter, Paul and Mary one? To me, it sounded more like the PP&M one. I'd heard them sing it long before I heard Dylan's version. My older bros & sisters weren't into Dylan, so I never discovered him until about 10-12 years ago. Anyway, another great job.
it's more the pp&m one. i heard their version first, too. honestly, i've heard so many people sing it lately, that i was sort of sliding around. it was the musical equivalent of a car with a flat tire.
wow kris thanks for passing this on this is one of my all time fav songs and dan you sing and play it fantastic thanks for sharing your talent... amazing...babsx

you have a super awesome voice
but i would make it a little more raw and rough, i just think it fits the song better
i don't know how to say it, just don't try as much to sound good, just let the song flow
does that make any sense?
absolutely love your voice, though =)

yep, of all the covers I have seen on youtube you have captured the essence of the song and the way it is meant to be sung and played.
some are too upbeat and chirpy if that makes sense... this is not what this song is about.
