I wasn't around back then but I fell in love with the monkees a couple of years ago and I miss Davy, the monkees could really touch your heart especially Davy and Mike.
Well however you look at the origins of the band,as kids growing up in the sixties they gave us hope, adventure and above all belief in individualism. The American English relationships seemed to be cemented somehow. What many of us became in our lives in part shaped by this.
Thanks Davy for helping us through our youth.
It was about fun and hope.Yeah above all made us happy.RIP
@mikilu9080 I could reference his most obvious role in a popular 60s TV series but I won't (think Barbara Eden). He played a lifeguard in the opening moments in the Marx Brothers' first film "The Cocoanuts."
this is the kind of video that lifts your spirit from all that's going on in this world.....more comedy....white....clear comedy....the monkees gave us all that and more....love the monkees
Watching Mike trying to get on the horse always makes me laugh my ass off.

Like Peter's voice a lot in this track. He seems to be singing more in tune than usual!
