I fish this place regularly it has alot of carp init my most recent being a 19lb 3oz i have had 14 carp the biggest being 23lb 7oz and the smallest being 9lb9oz out of there and i have fished it for a year not an easy place but you can not moan for free just lazy anglers leaving rubbish after there selves which give this place a bad reputation. i am talking about the main pond Match point.

There's no disease or sick fish. It's just a wank place to fish. It's an unattended council water from World War 2. It's been on a downfall near enough since it was introduced. Some one needs to go clean the place out. It's just full of rubbish, trolleys and used fires. It needs very much tending too!

@DeathWithoutRemorse As I mention at the end of the video, if you do fish the water please, please, please take away and rubbish or if you have a bag spare, clear some rubbish away and help keep this water free. You will find the same problems with many waters that arn't managed and that are free!

i did not check the other ponds mate i think that they ok fingers crossed my friend fished one of them and said there were no signs of sick fish so it might be just the first pond.a lot of lakes have had fish kills this year . i think its the backlash of last summers problems with a very bad virus that hit many lakes. tight lines

went there to fish nine ponds a few weeks ago and unfortunately all the carp are dying. They were a few doubles floating on top at the peg on the roadside. Also they were all grouped together under the tree in the middle on the right side and you could just scoop them out with your net. They were hardly moving and had this mad white fungus all over them. Don't know if they have a disease or because of the lack of oxygen from the freeze. It's a real shame, it was a great free water for carp

@sicfoofan yep all the fish are 100% dead went 2 fish it last week and counted 30 dead biggest being 25 so its game over for the poor little lake folks

Great Video, I agree with the rubbish, its a amazing how many people say they take their litter home, but you always find it on the venues. well done on the videos.

Good blog man, looks like a nice place. Shame about the litter though doesn't surprise me. many people just don't care bout the world around em..even worse when I watch "fishermen" litter :(.

That is the one thing I envy you guys, many waters are private but held to a higher standard, here most waters are free but covered in trash. Great fishing, but you'd be hard pressed to find a swim without litter and fishing tackle all about it.
