  • Do we live in a free society?

  • You were right. I remember seeing this video in the run up to the last presidential election. I really thought that he would make some real change. Boy was I duped!

  • @gravityjunkie47 Ron Paul 2012 is bringing change! Even if he doesn't win, we have won. It won't be long. We are now in the game of Presidential Politics and it will be so until we finally win. A finalist for the GOP is very popular and getting a large portion of his support for this issue.....

  • Don't care whether Obummy supports or not, I didn't and WON'T vote for the pawn. BTW, he should now be enough proof of terrorist control within our govt. Current support should go to Detroit, our shining beacon of hope in a POINTLESS war! DETROIT VOTERS UNITE! LEGALIZE!! PUT THE TERRORIST OUT OF BUISINESS!!

  • A nation that makes war on God's green herbs and trees - very pathetic!

  • Fuck you obama, if you don't man up and take a stance than you are a hypocritical douchebag who deserves to be in jail and rot, you smoked pot yourself, often , you said it yourself, yet you let hundreds or thousands of people be put in jail and have their lives ruined for the same thing

  • @stride7860 Amen!

  • If I quit smoking pot, I will become an alcoholic. That's worse than smoking a little pot to relax. Obama changed his stance on pot because his handlers threatened to either kill him or his family. Kennedy got killed by the government because he was for the people and not the bankers and big corporations.

  • Even if we had a president that was for legalization its not like it would happen easily. Decades and decades of propaganda originally started by the racist fuckbag Harry Anslinger has brainwashed and corrupted so many people and politicians that it is going to still be a while before people understand the truth about weed. I smoked it for about two or three years, then got bored of it and quit no problem. It really is almost harmless and people need to research and think for themselves...

  • sad obummer

  • Look he dose want to legalize it, but he needs to have a strong image in his office and he cant do that while saying he wants to legalize something that most gov't officals think is bad. There are to many bias minds in the goverment right now, all they want is money and power, and they dont seem to notice that weed can give them both. but in future generations i can see weed being legalized. just a matter of time.

  • dont leglize weed....

  • @keithownseveryone09

Everyone has a right to weed. If you are against it you are for socialism (this is a FACT, you want a government run agency to invade on people personal lives and arbitrarily tell them what they can and cant do). You also are advocating the wasting of hundreds of millions of dollars that could go to buying better body armour for the brave men and women fighting overseas, helping to ensure the safety of them and their families. Are you saying you want those soldiers to die?

  • Obama smokes crack.

  • I support Marijuana used in a responsible medicinal fashion, but not its legalization for commercial use.

  • ok,if you want marijuana legalized its as easy as voting for it after it is proposed. duh

personally im pro, but thats me. maybe not you. thats what a vote is for. my question is, will the common user get out of bed in that fateful day AND VOTE!!!!!!!

  • this country's war on a plant and tree used for centuries as a god given, natural and superior resourse., has been evil, short sighted, and against the laws of nature - and has lost us our civil rights and our god given inheritance to natural medicine, safe and non toxic, friendly to man and earth and promised in the bible "the fruit for food, the leaf for medicine" Hurt not the trees!!! revelations!

  • @48snowbird

The bible also said that its our responsibility to take all the herbs that god has given us and spread them throughout the earth.

Now, as someone who is studying to help stop invassive species, I would strongly advise against doing this, I have always found it baffling that those most opposed to the legalization of cannabis are often religious.

On another note, I would like to know which verse that was.

  • lol its actually very hard to see where B. Hussein Obama stands on almost every issue, he has changed his minds sooo many times I think he wears flip flops to congress.

  • he suck at wars, but legalize cannabis, then everyone will be friends and theres no more war <3

  • HEY LOOK ITS BLACK HARRY ANSLINGER!!!!!!!! RISEN FROM THE DEAD KILL HIMMMMM!!!!!!!!!

  • You wanna see a funny video? YouTube "Man commits suicide with a banana!"

  • FUCK THIS DUMB NIGGER IMPEACH ALREADY FUCKING LEGALIZE THE GREEN AND STOP HATING ON THE PLANTS YOU FUCKING IG NIG MORONS

  • you know the diffrance between a drunk driver and a stoned driver.the drunk driver will see a stop sign and drive right pass it and never stop.a stone driver will stop at the the stop sign and wait for it to turn green

  • Obama hopefully wont be reelected...

  • I MIGHT WATCH THIS IF THE MUSIC WASN'T SO RIDICULOUSLY TERRIBLE... BYE...

  • barrack gets his shit pushed in

  • barney frank has bigger balls than any other liberal in congress and he is a homosexual !

  • Over here in the UK Nick Clegg said he supported the decriminalization of weed but now he's the Deputy Prime Minister he's saying it should remain an illegal substance. Coult be a coincidence as both wanted votes to gain power but who knows?

  • Obama is a lying bastard. He is doing nothing for the cause.

  • barack obama is nothing more than a voiceless president who won't stand up for shit, he just wants to go through the motions.

  • as much as i agree that weed should be legalized for the simple fact that it is not dangerous, making a video against obama, because he doesn't agree with legalizing weed just makes you look like a childish teenager...

there are much more important issues at hand for obama, then just satisfying some stoners and lets be honest stoners only what it legalized so that they can smoke it, not so cancer patience can feel less paint or that authorities can fight worse crimes.

  • marijuana does NOT need to be legal. It is a mind altering drug and not good for mental health.

  • Comment removed

  • @jenn1ifer ahahaha wow someones full of shit, ignorant people like you are the reason this country is going backwards unfortunately

  • @jenn1ifer

youtube search "run from the cure" and do some research. you have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. recreational use is not the most important thing here.

  • It is sad to say that unless the American people get off their fat Asses and pressure their politicians to legalize cannabis then it will never happen. Right now California is closer then it has ever been to legalizing it completely on November 2nd with most of the population polled at 65% approval for legalization if that does not pass then we are fucked

  • when california legalizes Marijuana the population there will skyrocket !

  • Obama will NEVER decriminalize at the Federal level because he cannot tax it as he does with tobacco and alcohol. These taxes are needed to fund Government healthcare to pay for the millions of peaple that DIE every year from tobacco and alcohol related health problems that are associated with their use.

  • P.S. Let's prohibit the the "M" word from our debate as well. It has a racist history and was invented as a scare word. More importantly is inaccurate as "marihuana" is not actually cannabis or rather was not until Anslinger employed it to confuse congress and the American people.

  • Look I am ALL for the legalization and production of cannabis and while I agree that President Obama has done a 180 on this we need to be less TEA PARTY about this issue. The key is making OUR argument fact-based (no matter how personal it is), and respectful. I understand the government has not always been respectful of us but all the more reason to lead by example, in my opinion. The calmer and less reactionary we are the better those on the fence and in power will listen.

  • I don't agree that Obama won't support marijuana decriminalization. The president won't go out of his way to legalize pot when the country is at war, the economy is failing, and he is trying to pass health care reform. His administration has already ended the federal raids on medical marijuana dispensaries in states that allow it. Marijuana is illegal in all 50 states in the union, and the president has no power to change state law. We'll see what happens when California legalizes pot.

  • "sargentcrackers:

I don't agree that Obama won't support marijuana decriminalization. The president won't go out of his way to legalize pot when the country is at war, the economy is failing, and he is trying to pass health care reform. His administration has already ended the federal raids"

This really is the best response to this video and a dose of level headed thinking. Only reason Obama doesn't support legalization is that it would be political suicide. If he gets relected he may support it

  • @sargentcrackers But even just the medical cannabis law has brought California into making more money than ever seen from any other revenue... especially in my state Michigan....14billion if not more could be saved in just legalizing it, so yeah he should just end the war on drugs save our country the billions of wasted dollars and gain the extra billions it would bring in in revenue.

  • @sargentcrackers

    Posted 1 year ago.

Since then, Obama's administration has declared marijuana to have no viable medical use.

  • lol support this video or go somewhere else... you are arguing against stoners remember ;)

(just making a point.. im a stoner too and I am frickin unreasonable :P)

  • Fuck obammy! He also sold us out to the insurance and drug companies. Thanks for nothing asshole!

  • And it making even bigger wars, and kept us in Iraq, and supports tapping our phone lines, and refused to show the Gitmo pics, and dose not support gay marriage.

  • Plus when America was first settled, it was a law that every person is required to grow weed because it created huge profits to the colonies.

  • Weed does need to become legal. The biggest reason weed became illegal in the first place was because big businesses(fuel/oil, clothes, and wood/paper companies) were losing money because of hemp. Hemp was used to make clothes, paper, wood, and hemp ethanol (a fuel used for cars before illegalization). The earth would be a much cleaner place and natural resources such as 500 acres of forests won't be destroyed every 30min.

  • AGREED 1OO%.

  • fuck obama, he lied to everyone and i dont feel sorry for the dumb fucks who believed his bullshit, ppl said bush was bad so what do we do? we elect someone 10x worse who knows less than nothing with even less experience. this fuck is a leftist nutcase!

  • man fuck Hobama!

  • You are really bright, a shining light of intelligence.

  • What are the harms of marijuana?

All the harms I see come from one of two things

    (1)the laws that forbid it

    (2) irresponsible use bye an individual.

Can someone name me some that are actually caused bye the drug itself.

  • Sure.

THC has over 400 known cancer-causing toxins.

Studies have shown that students who smoked pot have a decreased mental capacity and memory that did not return to normal until 4 weeks after they stopped smoking.

Cannabis damages the immune system (alchohol doesn't, btw)

    - marijuana is the second most frequently found substance in the bodies of drivers involved in fatal car accidents.

-marijuana changes the structure of sperm cells

-causes reduction of resistance to illnesses

  • Please get your facts straight. Marijuana has actually been shown to increase the size in your brain cells. Not one death has been directly caused by the use of marijuana which can also prove that it does not cause cancer. Go watch a movie called "The Union" and your view on marijuana will be changed for ever. If i didnt have a character limit I could prove to you even more that it is not bad, not neutral, but good if anything. Please IM me on aim at ptxfragzx if you want to argue.

  • "- marijuana is the second most frequently found substance in the bodies of drivers involved in fatal car accidents."

please give me a link to a scientific study that proves that point.

  • I don't have a link because I don't do all my research on the computer.

But my source is the National Institute on Drug Abuse.

  • @SupernaturalLover67 okay fair enough but just cuz weed was in there system doesn't mean alcohol wasn't too. So they were drunk and high, their drunkenness fucked em up. boooyakasha

  • @nasgoroth yea cause a lot of fucking ppl smoke it, dumb shit

  • this is bullshit because no long term study on HUMANS has every been conducted. SHow me proof. You can't because there aint. Unless your a lab rat ,then this might apply to you.

  • @cagedchild i been a lab rat for over 20years.

  • Okay since your listing negative effects i guess you don't want to smoke it. Great I don't think anyone cares and everyone is aware of the negative side effects, fast food and alcohol are both far more lethal anyway. But regardless people should not face jail time (potentail ruining their life) just for smoking a plant and hurting no one. Not to mention our taxes should not go towards that either. If u think otherwise u are a close minded, ignorant self absorbed asshole.

  • @smokingajayble you don't do jail time for smoking pot. you do jail time for possessing a quality hefty enough to indicate an intent to sell.

  • That untrue although ppl are commonly let off easy u can be arrested and go to jail.

  • @smokingajayble you are a scholar for this comment..! :)

  • @smokingajayble layin the hammer down like true stoner. you make all the cannabis community proud for pointing out the bullshit of prohibition

  • WHERE'S THE PROOF ?

  • I could go on if you'd like.

  • Thanks For your Important Input of Truth

    JB

  • fuck obama

  • Obama talks out of both sides of his mouth. He is a huge contradiction.....................Larry Sinclair, ask him!!!!!

  • this is dumb

  • he says he doesnt support it, but theres no way he doesnt realize that now is the time. with all the problems in the economy, ending the war on drugs would open thousands of jail cells to actual criminals, and could use the extra tax money on things that actually matter.

plus if regulated and sold, thats an entirely new industry to help pull us out of the recession, and lower unemployment

so i seriously hope he's just waiting till after reelection to do so, if he gets reelected.

  • Who gives a crap. The true majority of Americans would rather have drug free communities and keep all the potheads and pro-pot propagandists away from their children. Quit whining about your right to be high and fight for something worthwhile like a right to a living wage or a right to REAL health care or a right to quality education or ANY other cause more worthy of your time and attention. Getting high won't end the War in Iraq or improve civil rights or solve the debt crisis.

  • Drug free communities? Are you high? Tobbacco use in America over last decade? Way down. Nobody was arrested. Marijuana use? Way up, many arrested. And I do care, as a medical user and somebody who has been arrested and lost jobs over my medicine! A living wage? How about letting me work at what I was doing before I got pinched for 1 nugget of medical? Obama isn't ending the Iraq war! He's increasing the wars! More spending on them than Bush? Solve the debt crisis? By borrowing more debt? Joke.

  • So basically, I think Obama stinks on the wars, on the debt. But hoping he will do something on marijuana. Deep down I know he agrees with us. But the money/unions/police/ONDCP/prison system, etc. isn't letting him. I'm hoping to be happy with Obama for something. The rest? He's getting an F from me. Let him get an A on marijuana reform at least. It's his only hope for many of us. Unsatisfied and not expecting any positive changes from Obama. Keep pretending money doesn't run the show!

  • Perhaps I should clarify. You have the power to organize people and change the world and the best you all can come up with is trying to give people the right to be high out of their minds. The entire movement is a caricature of poor choices and selfish irresponsibility. As far a medical pot goes, I'll go along when it's FDA approved for specific treatments and available at a tightly-regulated traditional pharmacy and docs who write bogus prescriptions are properly prosecuted. Drugs = tyranny.

  • @MikeCANN i laugh at my relatives who smoke cigarettes non stop like wtf are u thinking ur gonna dieeeeeeee grandpa u moron go smoke weed u dumbass then he's like get a job oh yeah u smoke too much weed u can't pass a drug test im like fuck your drug test i wanna smoke weed for the resta my lifeeeeeee

  • @MikeCANN you just blew my fuckin mind.

  • you HAVE real heathcare buddy. Its not a socialist country here and you have to pay healthcare. I mean otherwise you can move to canada with their universal health care system and die in an ambulance because their four hour ER waiting room time forces people to sit for hours(often more than 4 before going to wait for 4 more in the ER), dying, in the ambulance they arrived in to comply with laws that caused this problem in the first place.

  • who gives a crap? try waking up to reality friend. millions in this counrty alone give a crap. legalizing marijuana would would boost the economy and get rid of all the so called criminal pot dealers that are ripping everyone off.i know you dont give a shit ,but thats because you are ignorant, not because you are right.

  • By missing my point, you're proving it. Fight for something real and legitimate that will make this country better for all of us. Pot won't do that. The experiment is failing and the rest of us are paying the price. Rental properties are being destroyed by grow operations, school districts are demanding limits on the totally under-regulated farcical medical dispensaries. Even some of the screen-names on here serve only to intensify the ridiculous, cult-like nature of pro-pot propagandists.

  • think about it, you miss the point. legalize it and all thoughs problems you talked about are solved.

  • Comment removed

  • make it 21 and over like the killer drug alcohol, and no more pot dispensaries,no more illegal pot trade with mexico,no more shady pot dealers.taxing it would bring billions to states that desperitly need money.and right now if you want some pot badly enough you can get it pretty easly.there is no good argument for keeping it illegal.

  • If pot was legalized many people would quit cigarettes, pot doesn't kill people and it's better than alcohol any day. Pot is natural and you're deluded to think legalization would result in tyranny. Your propaganda is vile and unworthy of further contemplation.

  • @amartinek01

Actually, legalizing could solve the debt crisis. I dont know about the states, but in canada its a 13 billion dollar industry. Thats bigger than the wheat industry and the beef industry (canada has the biggest wheat industry in the world, and one of the biggest beef industries). If it were legalised, the government could tax the hell out of it.

Besides, you cant say "drug free comunities" while they have coffee, tobacco, alchohol, and asprin legal in them.

  • @boonw Let's do the math. Even if they taxed that $13 billion per year industry at 100% it wouldn't even come close to solving the debt crisis. It would also be extremely expensive to regulate and enforce; especially in America where tax evasion is a national pastime. The neighborhood drug dealer will be cheaper and plenty more will just grow their personal stash in the closet or the basement to avoid the taxes. Only now corporate America will escalate the war on drugs to protect profits.

  • @amartinek01

"Even if they taxed that $13 billion per year industry at 100% it wouldn't even come close to solving the debt crisis"

Of course the price would go down, but it would create massive tax revenues, and industries that would not only create jobs, but other areas to tax. Besides, I was using the canadian figure, its definately bigger in the US. And who cares it cant single handedly solve the debt crisis, it would still generate massive revenues.

  • @amartinek01

"It would also be extremely expensive to regulate and enforce"

No,it wouldnt, it would be no more difficult than enforcing tobacco or alchohol sales. Besides, it would self fund itself with a huge surplus.

"The neighborhood drug dealer will be cheaper"

No,it wouldnt.Theres a reason it sells for 10$ a gram, and its because its illigal, if we made it on an industrial scale, and put tons of tax on it,we would still undercut them.Besides,at a certain price, people go for convenience.

  • @boonw Pot only sells for ten bucks a gram if you're a friend of a dealer. If you're unknown to the dealer, he'll either sell it to you for twenty bucks a gram, or just take your money and say "Fuck you. You've just been jacked."

  • @TheJoeyEmilyShow

It all depends where you are. I live in southern ontario, and I see weed typically selling for 10 a gram on the street, and for about 7-8 dollars a gram if your're freinds with a dealer.

  • @boonw Yeah, well, I'm in the United States, where the cops are under orders to take drastic measures, including using civilians to do buy and bust stings. My dad, who is a U.S. cop, tried to get me to participate in a controlled buy but I wouldn't do it.

  • @boonw Speaking of corporate America, there is a new cannabinoid pharmaceutical currently in FDA trials that will make the medical marijuana state laws obsolete. It will also open up those states to major lawsuits from the patent holder over violations of the Supremacy and Commerce clauses of the U.S. Constitution. At least the pro-pot propagandists won't be able to abuse the sick to promote their legalization agenda anymore.

  • @amartinek01

    "Speaking of corporate America"

You do realise that because of corporations, our standard of living for this decade has been higher than ever

    "At least the pro-pot propagandists"

We dont shill propaganda, thats what the people advocating legalization dont go into schools, and get government paid adds spewing utter bullshit to support their cause. We use FACTS obtained by studies and logic. Weed is one of the safest drugs out there, its in demand, and it makes money.

  • @boonw Propaganda is propaganda regardless of who spews it; pays for it; or abuses the least fortunate amongst us in hocking their point of view. The government's media efforts are a comparative drop in the bucket. This whole legalization issue never would have caught on if it weren't for the medicinal argument; which the FDA is about to make moot. It will be fascinating to see what happens when this whole thing turns against itself. You saw the beginnings of it in California last November.

  • @amartinek01

    "Propaganda is propaganda"

As I explained, pro-pot people dont shill propaganda, and I explained why it isnt propaganda. Insisting that I am wrong instead of explaining it is a strong sign of a bad argument.

"drop in the bucket. This whole legalization issue never would have caught on if it weren't for the medicinal argument"

Man, you are ignorant. It was an issue when it was prohibited, the medical issue had nothing to do with it.

  • Ron Paul says he would legalise marijuana, and when he says it I actually believe him.

The libertarian movement in the USA is probably pro-cannabis legalisation if it is anything like libertarianism in the UK!

Free the weed in America, the UK and all over the world!

  • If anybody else comes across any more comments like this. Race baiting or saying violence is ok, send me a message on them. Flag them. Not ok, here. Either stupid or working for the govt? I don't have time for either. I will ban and remove comments but only those that are in this vein...Censorship? Maybe. I'm not allowing this video to be over run. It's about marijuana reform not calling the President racist terms or advocating that violence will fix it or is somehow just...

  • Comment removed

  • I'm not putting up with this kind of talk and don't feel like moderating. I removed the first, the second, your banned. The video is about marijuana reform, not race baiting and talk that only incites people to do stupid things or gets you a visit from the Secret Service..

  • WEED, I NEED WEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! god dam it!

  • Obama: "When I smoked marijuana and did cocaine, it was just goofing around with friends. When you do marijuana or cocaine, I will prosecute you to the fullest extent of the law with the mandatory minimums and RAVE Act my Vice President introduced."

Of course there's nothing hypocritical about sending people to jail for the same victimless crimes you did and publically discuss... of course not.

  • i know, all government shitheads are liars and hypocrits. its ridiculous

  • well, he can always change his mind again. Keep up your effort, and gain public support and your politician will sway. Obama isnt your enemy here, the evangelical christian right is.

  • either way obama or Mccain are no good liers str8 up we lose because we dont really come together as people of america and we all dont protest for our rights as human beings

  • i love presidents

there are our one shot every 4 years to see who is for the people and who is clueless

obama sure did play one hella good game of poker against american voters

    we lose (once again)

  • @ic300x The congress and the senate can pass laws even if the president veto's it. If people didn't elect crooks to the senate and congress they would have legalized weed even if the banks, that funnel drug money ***big profits***, put puppets up for presidents. Don't get down. If we don't stand together we will hang separately.

  • I believe the comparison Obama made with morphine and marijuana has been taken out of context. I think what he meant was that: why is it ok to give people morphine, which is a very addictive hard drug, and not the non-addictive soft drug marijuana....

  • TO LEARN ABOUT THE #1 POT ACTIVIST IN THE WORLD TRYIN TO LEGALIZE WEED EVERYWHERE, TYPE IN: the usa vs marc emery WATCH ALL 5 PARTS

  • and check out his website cannabisculture com he's got my blog mikecann net featured on there right now! We are hoping to get Jodie to speak at next year's Boston Rally. And Marc when he gets out, if he is allowed into the USA. Ridiculous he's facing federal time. I don't want my tax money to be spent to prosecute a guy that did what other wouldn't. He created something that will carry on. And it is good.

  • all taken from the NORML site. so big deal he didnt listen to the question. he cant be any dumber than W. and as for him not holding any press conferences look up Barack Obama and Medical Marijuana (interview Q&A). i know it will b hard but watch the whole interview. our troops in iraq and afghanistan are more pressing issues.

  • 'Senator Obama appeared to oppose decriminalization in a 2007 Democratic primary debate when MSNBC moderator Tim Russert asked candidates who opposed then-candidate Senator Chris Dodds support of decriminalization to raise their hands. In the video, Senator Obama is seen hesitantly raising his hand halfway before quickly lowering it again. When asked about the two different answers, Senator Obamas campaign stated that he has "always" supported decriminalization.'

  • He changed again in the campaign after this statement. This is what I am talking about. Back and forth all the time with BO and this issue. See the links to Washington Post and NORML, 2/8/2008 after the debate you mention, his spokesperson said what?

  • Obama Campaign Retracts Statement Supporting Decriminalization

    February 8, 2008 - Washington, DC, USA

Washington, DC: Senator Barack Obama's campaign backed away from statements made last week affirming the Senator's support for decriminalizing marijuana, after being confronted with inconsistencies in his past and present campaigns on the issue by the Washington Times.

  • A spokesman for Obama's campaign blamed confusion over the meaning of decriminalization for the inconsistencies, and said that while Obama does not support decriminalization, "we are sending far too many first-time, nonviolent drug users to prison for very long periods of time, and that we should rethink those laws."

  • look up Obama Marijuana Policy (MPP-TV) right here on youtube and listen to the WHOLE speech and let this douche bag keep 'thinking' he is right.

  • those are the only 2 exerpts you have? you arent very convincing. both of those could be taken completely out of context. make a new vid that has more details and proof. you didnt prove anything to me and hopefully people out there wont belive it when some1 tells you one line from a speech and it has no supporting evidence

  • What do I need to prove? I am right. Has Obama done a press conference on medical marijuana? no. Has Obama done anything but make jokes of medical marijuana and marijuana legalization? MPP responded to this video! See my video description for links. I'm not some know nothing on this subject. I actively work this cause and sometimes even work with MPP. Look me up. Check my recent videos and then get back.

  • Obama is counting on this issue just going away when our standard of living is low and we cant afford car and must walk to pay for war for the Jews who control him.

  • I find it funny that you have this idea that a politician cannot say one thing and do another.

  • I find it funny that you would criticize a citizen for keeping track of the policy positions of somebody running for office and their vote. It's not that he changed his mind or did another. It's that I don't like it!

  • As soon as Obama took office he signed an executive order ending federal enforcement of Federal marijuana laws in states where medical marijuana is legal and the perpetrators are participating in an action legally sanctioned by their home state.

Barack has helped the cause of Marijuana decriminalization. But he does have other things to do first. Obama can't just draw a line in the sand and say "Marijuana or fight." Fellow democrats would revolt. He would never get another bill passed.

  • Fellow Democrats are asking for it. Even folks like Charlie Rangel who used to be a drug war supporter have made more progressive statements on this issue. Seems most are moving to us but Obama.

  • just because someone changes their opinion on an issue such as marijuana decrim. means nothing different position different view, dont read too far into it anyone can doo that, look at fox news! i am for marijuana but who knows im going to be a father soon maybe it will change. and as president i would definiteley look to the interests of my countries people differently as well

  • When somebody doesn't support marijuana reform, I dont support them. It means something to me. And people weren't get the straight scoop that his position had changed in May 2008 because MPP wasn't be clear about it. So that's the reason for the part on that. TO let people know his position had changed. Nothing wrong with changing if it's good! But this stinks.

  • Well The Rothschild and Rockefeller own this country and regardless who is president, they are just puppets

  • whats the name of this song??? please answer. its really good. and nice vid too :)

  • Well I'm all about marijuana legalization, fer sure.. I'm even pursuing a political science major to help the cause, but you gotta understand that any decisions made right away could blow an election four years from now. Further more fuckin up more plans he may have under his sleeve, all so we can smoke freely right now. If it just so happens he was meant to be President, I'm not so sure his mission was to legalize marijuana first step thru the door. There are other crisis that need attended to

  • I'm not so confident that he's doing a good job on those other issues. I'm a financial advisor been in the business for 10+ years, never seen it this bad. Nothing I can recommend is safe. Nothing, not even CD's or money market, fixed accounts. It's never been like that in my lifetime. And I contend getting worse not better. But that's another issue. Haha. I'm not expecting legalization but I don't know how fully supporting medical could hurt him. It has 80%+ voter support. No issue more popular.

  • And I'm not convinced his lukewarm support for medical marijuana is a great development. He could do so much more. Like have a press conference with real medical users and say Montel Williams. Two hours for sick people that have 80%+ voter support. Not much to ask for. Medical marijuana is more popular than any elected official. But with the money that run them! My point of the video.

  • Well if that was the point of the video, why make it a diss track to Obama. He's kinda presidential and all, I'm sure he has an idea of what he's doin.

  • And... I mean we all know you may be faithful to my bitch Jane, but all your video is twists and turns and a little bitta logos arguments. Marijuana and Morphine? Come on now you almost sound like conservative with a lie like that...

  • It's not a lie. Those were his words. And it does show something. That even for medical he compares it to mophine? Which is only for the sick and dying. And not folks like me with daily nerve pain. Kind of like how many of the medical bills are now being written. With Soros backing. Funny how everything I pointed out is more relevant today than when I did that video. PS I am a conservative. Not a fake like the GOP'ers though.

  • This was released before he was President. And I was one of the only to call it right. When MPP and many others were painting that Obama was more in our corner than he really was. I was right and MPP responded more than a half a year later and agreed..

  • legalize and tax

  • WTF s up wit the song??? u cant even read the damn words cus its so fucking annoyin

  • I like it. Sorry. Taste is subjective. It goes with the video in a way. Haha. Here we go again! It's like the same dream over and over again. New politician, same games and story.

  • ugh that song makes the video unwatchable...

  • turn it down then, not even much to watch. But just shows that I was right during the election and know what I am talking about on the subject of cannabis reform. And that many others were saying that Obama was going to legalize, decriminalize and nothing could be further from the truth...

  • The band, Prospect Hill, the music in the video, have gone on to headline some huge events, like the Boston Freedom Rally, the San Diego Marathon, NY Harvestfest, High Times 2009 420 show. And we both garnered front page stories successfully fighting marijuana fines in Methuen, MA. We are again being interviewed by press. The GUARDIAN newspaper interviews MikeCann & Prospect Hill tomorrow. You might not like this song but the band has used their music to reach many people on this subject.

  • Damn ******* American Presidents...

  • Yeah..."change we can believe in'...right.He's already proved himself a liar when he promised the DEA would stop raiding cannabis shops. He proved himself a flip flopper by changing his stance as he ran for president. And he's proved himself a hypocrit by proudly stating that he indeed inhaled and enjoyed it.Hey Obama, you committed a crime, you now must be punished-hypocrit.

  • Hold on,... Whoaa who whoa... Marijuana and morphene?? Please tell me he didnt really say that.

  • Really? Does anyone really read what this guy writes? He's trying to read into an opinion of the President that hasn't ONCE been truly, clearly stated since his election. Hell, since two thousand and fucking four. He will deal with it when the time is right. If you guys didn't realize, we're still facing peacekeeping missions in multiple countries. Yeah, there are no 'wars' in Iraq or Afghanistan. I was deployed for 15 months as an Infantryman with the Army. The war ended in 2003/2004. - My 2c

  • I'm not inferring much on Obama but that he was playing marijuana reformers and their supporters. And that MPP and many others should think twice if they think he was our great savior. Am I wrong? Not proven to be yet. If I am, I will be happy.

  • Am I wrong? Not proven to be yet.

**If I am, I will be happy. **

No Doubt ... You & Me Both Brother

What a sad & ridiculous world we live in when it comes to things like this.

  • The American War on Drugs is the most efficient crime generating machine in the world. It hurts everyone except people involved in selling drugs.

  • im sorry, but as much as i would love for marijuana decrim, this is what he said, "I think the war on drugs was an utter failure. I think we need to rethink of decriminalize our marijuana laws, but I'm not somebody who believes in legalization of marijuana."

  • Did you tell MPP that 18 months ago? You know the group that was inferring that Obama was going to legalize it?

  • Fuck we should had voted for Ron Paul, instead of this fucking commercialism bullshit crap president for a toy, this is the first lie, when are the others coming? don't tell me tomorrow that freaking swine flu was a virus created to promote or create some shit, beacuse just then when i see that, i will say to my self, Ohh My God My Government Is Full Of SHIT! LEGALIZE POT. Legalized

  • Unfortunately prepackaged presidents are all the rage these days..
