The Stacy character was a bit of a mistake. If House had a wife it would be someone with which he could always have a good chess match, and constantly stimulate his big brain. Cuddy and Cameron have much better brains for that relationship to develop.

Personally, my infatuation with Jennifer Morrison naturally means I always wanted the writers to keep exploring the House/Cameron dynamic. Plus the age gap makes for really interesting drama - one of those classic student/mentor romances.

So i was actually watching this while listening to James Blunt's "Goodbye my lover" softly in the background, and i really almost cried.

I love House and Cameron, Stacy and House had their bit, bit its like that love that just cant really happen,and house and cuddy i just see more as good friends.

House and Cameron i really think are better for eachother than Cameron and Chase,i didnt always think that but the more ive watched the more i think that.

I've been House/Cameron since I started watching the show [which was towards the middle of the third season, plus repeats of 1st & second]. I really hated Stacy at first, and House/Cuddy didn't even cross my mind. But now that I've seen almost every House episode, I think that Stacy is really great. H/Cam is still my OTP<3 but Stacy's not a 'bad guy' anymore to me. I actually think their moments are cute. But he had his chance, she had hers, it's over now.

Also, if you look, at his (House) address, it is 221... the same as Sherlock Holmes which was 221b. Holmes had a cocaine habit, House uses Vicodan. There a a lot of parallels you can find :)
