We are sure those who ordered the killing these two elder people who merely spoke on behalf of plants, animals, and ecosystems which can not speak on their own behalf... are now congratulating themselves. @BENTHEMAN11 Actually, we are not so much killing the planet so much as we are killing ourselves and other living things on this planet. In the end, we are just harming ourselves with our own destructive actions and behaviors and if we don't stop, we will eventually just drive ourselves to extinction leaving the Earth to continue without us and leaving whole ecosystems and lifeforms to flourish.

@Katyusha666 If we are 'gods' then why can't we give life? We can't even give life to a flea, yet we can kill off whole ecosystems and each other and often for no reason other than because we can. It is much easier to take life than to give life. If we are truly 'gods' then we should be able to give life as easily as we take it.

By gods I mean that we dominate this earth, we are the supreme species. The proof is that you are able to see something that happened somewhere else in the comfort of your home and comment on it and even argue. If you believe we are so horrible, why don't you kill yourself? That would make one less human no? Better yet, commit mass murder.

@Katyusha666 We give birth to stillborn dead babies also. That is not proof that WE actually created life. If we are truly such a supreme species, then we should be able to live on Earth in a way that is actually constructive and productive rather than destructive to ourselves and other lifeforms which share the Earth with us. A lot of the problems we have in the world is man made. We are horrible but we can also be very good as well. There is hope for us all but only if we change our ways.

@Katyusha666 So no need to kill anyone. Not many understand what it truly means to lead, dominate, and be great. As it has been said, 'he that serves you is greater than you'. You want to be great, be prepared to serve. Seems to me that we were really meant to be stewards of the Earth, to take care of ourselves and everything on the Earth. Not just use and abuse in the name of some absurd notion of domination and greatness. Such notions and ways of thinking have led to a lot of problems.

@Katyusha666 We don't really BUILD nature, the most we do is help to maintain it or modify it but we don't create it. Life comes when it comes. I am just saying that if we are truly the 'supreme' beings and 'gods' you claim us to be, we should be able to give and bring natural things to life and we don't making us no better than the other lifeforms we tend to look down on. So you saying that we're 'gods' and 'supreme beings' has no factual basis either and is just your opinion.

@chiyerano Yes, and opinion based on historical fact. A god doesn't necessarily have to be a power of creation, look at Kali and Shiva in the Hindu pantheon. Being gods we can do whatever we want with this planet, we all die one day so who cares about what happens? You get a minimum of 60 years to do whatever you want, so have fun. Truly this movement of "saving" the planet is really pathetic, we can't even take of each other so let alone the planet.

@Katyusha666 You mean an opinion based largely on religion and superstition. We aren't really gods. A real god can give as well as take life. A real god doesn't die and isn't prone to error and disease. Man is a mortal. So are animals. Also, as far as I can tell, we are not so much harming the planet itself, we are actually harming ourselves and other lifeforms on the planet. Living by your way of thinking is partly why we are in the mess that we are in and I will leave it at that.

@chiyerano Yes & No. Whether or not we stop our destructive ways, we WILL someday become extinct... In the mean time, we seem to want to express ourselves in the exceptionally most violent & destructive behaviors, towards ourselves & others around us, including the very ecology upon which we can hardly do without. But, yes, it is true that even if ALL of the "nukular" bombs on Earth were to be exploded, in a few hundred million years or so, the earth would likely repair itself & thrive again.
