  • 0:40 L'oreal. Because I'm worth it. lol

    Good song as always \m/

No pit at break.. thats gay.

  • Now this guy is good

  • Love this guy so much more than the new vocalist

  • yeah that double bass at the end was horrible.

buuuut triggers do have nothing to do with speed at all, just the sound. it makes the bass drum sound a bit more solid so you dont have all that sloppiness.

  • who's askin?

  • This is how I know you are lying about knowing leche...

TRIGGERING has NOTHING to do with speed.

TRIGGERING has to do with the SOUND the drum gives off.

  • The use of triggers affects a drummer's musically applicable speed.

  • Drum triggers are piezo transducers that react to the pressure of the vibration of the drum heads. The electronic impulse from the piezo is sent to a drum module or "brain" and "triggers" the samples within the module.

In other words, it mods the sound of the bass drum, not the speed at which you are playing. I use triggers with my band, and my speed only changed over time, not when I started using triggers

  • Technically speaking, yes. In practice, however, many drummers are capable of playing faster with ankle twitching or heels-down than they are with the powerful strokes necessary for live playing.

So, faster? No. But triggers make easier foot technique viable in a live setting.

  • Ah, now I see what you were referring to. Yes that is correct. In a live setting the "ankle twitching" (I don't know what else to call it) is WAY easier.

So in that case, I agree it can make you faster. In all other cases, it does not.

  • Agreed.

  • @Breakdancingguru

actually with triggers you can go faster. since you don't need all the usual force to produce a sound from the bass drum, you can place the beaters on your kicks closer to the trigger, resulting in you being able to go MUCH faster than you used to. my drummer used to use triggers until he was tired of people saying he was cheating.

  • If you read the comments below yours, you would see that this has already been said.

They don't allow you to play faster, but they make faster techniques like ankle twitching easier, and through that, makes it faster.

But that wasn't really what I meant. And the person I originally replied to was implying that they make you directly faster.

  • @destruction110

well you are slightly correct. triggers don't make you go faster,

BUT they do allow you to put your kicks closer to the bass drum head so you don't have to press down as hard in order to produce a hit/click.

you all need to do a bit more research before you try arguing on here. all of you are slightly correct.

  • ya for sure. I was just sayin they dont make you go faster. like its not a drum machine were u can set a drum beat than press "tempo" fifteen times and have amazing speed lol. I'm just saying they are basically used to make it so you can hear the bass drum or other drums more clearly.

Tho using triggers also leaves little room for error. Since you can hear eerything clearly, you have to try not to make any mistakes, and hit every note too :P

  • man weres the pit?

  • dude the doubble p at the end is so fucking slow...

  • you can hear it is going that fast, it's only the triggers making it skip beats. Those triggers are shitty.

  • oh ok i c

  • he does it 1/2 speed live

  • ohh ok

  • not Leche. Now that leche is back he does it full speed at every show. I've seen them 3 times live so thats proof as far as I'm concerned.

  • yeahh what cutbankmontanasucks said

  • yea they are, hes prob fuckin tired as fuck its the last song, so he does it slower but it still keeps the timing for the guitars to play the right shit

  • yea probly
