it may sound weird but when tried it in guitar store unplugged it sounded just like nirvana. no amps just dry from wood - the tone is there :) the only thing that pulled me off was really high action from 8th fret and bridge was all the way down - maybe can be adjusted. great axe :)

and I think there are the same pickups as Dave Murray strat ????????

The Nirvana tone was off (shoulda tried a Mesa Mini-Rec or just bumped up the mids), but it's a great sound (and guitar) nonetheless!!
