great video! I've been working a lot with dancers lately (and went to an arts school for bachelors and masters degrees as a musician), and love the dance, and see the mesh of modern dance with the ballroom scene! Love it.

i think before u 'try' and choreograph something in a dancehall theme you should get some actual exposure to dancehall and not just get inspired to make something from a video/movie because it looked interesting and ethnic. and the video Boyz was not a fully choreographed video of dancers. it was a collage or local grps/dancers and mixed together. the 'beating an african' drum dance at the beginning was ridiculous and offensive. being that the drums were jamaican and not african.

Wow! As an artist, I will not defend my work because I choreographed it according to how I felt the song and what my friend wanted which is an African style dance. Further, dance is a form of expression. It's about creativity and having fun. I did have fun choreographing it and we all had fun performing it.
