This phone is REALLY bad!!! Don't get it!!! I got one of these, and at first I liked it alot, but then I started to see how slow it was for texting and internet, and now I can't wait to get rid of it!!! Not only is it extremely impractical to use, but it's also on Sprint, which is horrible. Now I know why everyone is on Verizon, and why I got laughed at for using Sprint. I'm getting an HTC Touch Pro, and I hope you do the same.

And how can you blame me for choosing the HTC Touch Pro? At the time, it was the most advanced one that Sprint offered. And it didn't start showing its problems with lagging and crashing until I had already bought it. So how was I to know?

I can see how some people would think the flip is bad usability, but I think it's quirky and matches my personality. The Upstage is targeted toward a younger demographic, people who don't have the money nor the use for smartphones like the iPhone (I don't ever use the web feature on ANY phone)

I have two upstages and all I can say is that THEY SUCK! bad quality, bad video playback, camera sucks, and navigation is pretty hard with the touch sensitive square, and the reception is crap (before you say its because of your area ITS NOT, I have been all over the place including Hawaii, Arizona, Alaska, and New York still crappy reception. Overall the features are pretty average, the only thing I like about this particular model in the flip and how thin, sleek, and small it is.

when i click on the my music tab in the music player a message comes up and says "uncaught Exception" the options below the message are dismiss and exit but when i click dismiss nothing happens. so i cant listen to my tracks.

I do! I had that same issue. What you have to do is create a playlist on Windows Media Player with the songs you want to add to the phone. You then go to the Sprint Music Manager (you download it with the cd included with the phone) and you import the playlist from WMP and then transfer it onto the phone. I am sure you figured that out by now, your comment is a month old.

oh yeah, and about that leather case/extended battery. its really not that bag once u break it in. it also protects the phone so its a win win situation. mine has actually lasted 2 days straight without charging while i was using it for music/video/text/calling regularly. it wasnt even dead when i charged it again

i love this phone, i got it on release. had to fork up $150 with a 1 year contract but it was worth it. i plan on getting the 2 gig micro w/e card. it really is a good phone, replaced my ipod thats for sure.

There is a phone for everything, if you want a music phone and enjoy Sprint Power Vision this is the phone for you. I have used it, and it is an awesome phone for that purpose.
