@chappersr6. Fair bit of experience then. I've got a crf250x and a 1995 cbr600f, I passed my mod2 2 week ago. Got a Honda c90 for fucking about on aswell!(more fun then the other two)LOL. Gunna go for a r6 next year.
@Trotters222 I've had 3 different model R1 plus a stack of other liter bikes both twins and 4s, 750 GSXRs and most 600 class bikes mate I liked the 600s as I find them more fun to ride. I've ridden bikes since 1979 and am 49 now.
I gave up riding on the road 2 years ago I've a CRF250 and ride MX with my sons, it's more fun.
The throttle need to be used progressively, you can't just crack the throttle open and expect the Tyre to cope if you take notice I try not to crack the throttle only roll it on. Doing that reduces weight transfer upsetting the bike less.
I'm guessing the people who say the throttle is twitchy haven't ridden the bike, or if they have there may have been a issue with how the throttle was set up.
@laduff7 Are you serious, what was I supposed to do get off and push? To quote Abraham Lincoln or Mark Twain "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak out and remove all doubt."
applying throttle through a corner can help stabilize the bike and reduce the risk of front end washouts. although on the road and at lower speeds it matters little and in this case I had just gone past a lorry and was traveling slowly.
@chappersR6 Looking to get an R6 myself once I get my finances settled. How forgiving is the bike when you crack open the throttle like that on the curve? I thought the ass would've started sliding out the second you really give it on a lean, considering it's an R6. I only ask this because people say the throttle is twitchy as hell. Am yet to test ride one though.
motorcyclist aren't respected enough a bigger bike though its a better
i started on a hairdryer n people used to take the piss lol 1 guy i gave him the finger n he swerved, he is a good rider a damm good rider that bike looks really responsive
@chappersR6 in most of the countrys in europe, the motorcyclists say that they are not respected by other drivers (car drivers) in traffic. For example in Spain they come to TV and request to other drivers to respect them in traffic... but they drive to fast even in big citys. I don't want to say that you are one of them, but you are very exposed on a bike and the car drivers are not expecting motorcycles going at this speed and thats why there are so many fattalities.
No kidding, it was March or April and first ride of the year, I stick to Motocross now doesn't always matter if it rains and you can ride 12 months of the year.
Sadly have to give up Motocross too now too many injuries and no time as my sons race too now. :-(
Are these roads in England? I know they drive on the left side and everything.. lol, but it just seems like all the videos I've seen of English roads are just very narrow =l
It had a pc111 Akro can and was mapped readouts were 114hp
the bikes a 2006 best IMO, only other mods were decent rearsets and setting up the suspension.

I may not have experience of your riding skills but your lack of observation skills are very apparent a police officer would have read back and gathered enough information to stop himself looking stupid. You didn't you jumped to a wrong conclusion. Generally people judge other by their own standards which leads me to believe your aren't that experienced.
I've rode for over 30 years on the road and raced for a few of those. the only accidents I've been involved in were in built up areas usually caused by someones lack of observation with only two being my fault when I was first learning to ride at 18. Now please stop bothering me and go bullshit someone else, open your eyes and see the simple things that tell the whole story.
Ha just checked you out you're no policeman just middle aged overwieght and balding. looks like OTHER peoples custom high performance cars are your thing with one of your youtube friends posting videos of street racing.
Observation mate, you've been blocked clearly your just an arsehole who hasn't aclue about what he's talking about.
What year R6 is it? I'm planning on buying one but not sure what year... My first bike. What's the year I should be aiming for? When did they make the most significant changed to the model? 2005?
This ones an 06, to be completely honest not the best first bike. The suspension is way too stiff for the road and the engine needs to be kaned to keep the speed up. From what I recall all R6 are rev monsters although the 05 and earlier are much better and have better suspension. If I were to chose a first bike I'd go for a GSXR600 or CBR. The road handling of the Suzuki is really confidence inspiring but R6 is better on a track as STD.
The camera was set one the tank my head was above that level and able to pan left and right so won't give the whole picture. Along that part of the road the hedges are low and visblitly is very good across the road.
Yea i figured it was the camera but u never know theres so many idiots out there who pass 100mph into a blind corner, im wanting to get into the track myself im planning on getting a R6 or maybe a zx6r idk yet
R6 every day of the week the one in the vid was an 06 and I did some trackdays at Brands by dinner I was putting in my best trackday times around the Indy circuit (53s) where as I later bought an 07 ZX6r and spent over 3k (full Ti system WP shock and fork cartriges etc etc) as I was going to race it this year and I was still only as fast as the STD R6 and 1 sec slower on the STD ZX considering the ZX was dynoed at 120hp and the R6 at 114hp it speaks volumes about the R6s handling and engine.
you're right the camera was positioned lower than my head and I was able to look over and across. I would never never overtake when the corner was blind, the key to staying alive is observation and risk management I've stopped riding on the roads now as it is IMO no longer safe to take any chances at all and I wasn't prepared to compromise. MX only now cheapest form of riding for me as I now have 3 young sons that I'm teaching to ride MX so trackdays are out financially.
They are stiff and on bumpy B roads it can be an pain but no you don't lose control if you ride within your and the bikes limits.
Setting the sag right and fitting the correct springs for your weight goes a long way. I love the 06 on R6 B*llox to what the mags say. If I buy another road bike it will be an R6 although as of march I've given up riding on the road too dangerous and I can't safley ride how I like anymore so only MX and trackdays for me now.
Insanity at that time of the day. Maybe at dawn then go nuts - (no cars). overtaking on blind bends....just for the camera - great. Yeah I'll watch another vid - ride like that in traffic like that and your movie career will be over sooner rather than later. Go to a race track mate!
Thats good riding there mate. Your crazy. Its good to see that an english man can ride on the B roads. Your a good rider, and reading the comments, I can see why. You was a racer. I can go on you know haha. Your bike sounds brilliant, goes like the clappers and what year is it? If you want to see crazy riding, I just seen a quality vid. Motorcycle Madness - Type that in youtube. He is crazy hahaa. Anyway good riding pal.
dude back the shift light off 500 rpm, other than that your riding reminds me of my riding style saying that ive got a broken shoulder at the moment from the last fall.....lol
Can't believe an old scab such as your self can ride as nicely as you did right there. Other than the tormenting relines that I cringed upon hearing, you dun good man.
man, its cool to watch your vid but i can clearly tell you are a fresh driver, not really knowing the consequences - im sure uve seen ghostriders movies - he doesnt risk 50% of what you do and he does 100000000% better crazy stuff than you. No offence man, only a bit too dumb, no so much skill.
Sorry wrong on all counts been riding for over 30yrs (I'm 47 now was 45 at the time of the vid) and raced up till 1998. Although I will admit it was the first ride of the year so a bit rusty hence hitting the redline a couple of tmes.
As for Gostrider do me a favour will you I have no interest in him and was just doing my thing.
yeah my dad dosnt know i have a bike lmao. he lives in manchester tho :). And i said to my mum if i dont get a bike i wont go college and will join the army :D
its not as easy as it looks, to be confident enough and smart enought to know what you doing take years of riding. DOnt get me wrong everybody with 4 months experience can go like this, but mayby once, twice, mayby few bends, than sticky end. To actually survive this from day to day, you have to by damn good, damn brave and have bit of a damn luck for another drivers not to pull in front of you, hit the rabbit etc. Be happy that you are fifteen and enjoy yourself with girls, bikes will wait
Ya thanks dude. I'm in high school and gonna be in college soon and they just arent very practical for someone my age. I'm definetely gonna wait but i still love them.

What time of day was it.
You have no idea what I can or can't see.
The vid was over 2 years ago IE ancient history you will see I have trackday videos too if you care to use your brain if that is possible.
I wouldn't judge other peoples riding and observation skills using your's as a bench mark. ;-)

Can't believe an old scab such as your self can ride as nicely as you did right there. Other than the tormenting relines that I cringed upon hearing, you dun good man.
Keep up the vids!

Yea they were embarssing only excuse I can offer is that it was the first ride of the year and I was rusty.
chappersR6 3 years ago
man, its cool to watch your vid but i can clearly tell you are a fresh driver, not really knowing the consequences - im sure uve seen ghostriders movies - he doesnt risk 50% of what you do and he does 100000000% better crazy stuff than you.

MUSTANGFREAK96 3 years ago
yeah my dad dosnt know i have a bike lmao. he lives in manchester tho :). And i said to my mum if i dont get a bike i wont go college and will join the army :D
arrowheadrs 3 years ago
its not as easy as it looks, to be confident enough and smart enought to know what you doing take years of riding.
