little lara never did go to avalon. she trekked for 3 days until she reached kathmandu and then called her father. it was a miracle that she survived all by herself.

She didn't escape to Avalon... After her mother disappear in the looking glass, she survived "a ten-day solo trek from the crash site to Kathmandu"(TR: A manual). "When she arrived in Katmandu- capital of Nepal- she went to the nearest bar and made a polite telephone call to her father asking if it would be convenient for him to come and pick her up." Then, "she spent the rest of her childhood under the close tutelage of " Richard Croft.
