do you know a smart cast bar addon that would show for example exactly where are going to be each ticks of MF when you clip it? i mean when you clip MF at the 2nd tick , the next MF will have 4 ticks, but even if your MF casting time is 3.1 instead of 2.3, Quartz shows me only 3 ticks...

@OMFGItsTheManBearPig I've switched from Quartz to Gnosis for this reason. It's much better in that respect, and it actually shows tick changes after knockback also.

thx for your vids man ,they have been really helpful ,quick question though ,when should i be using mind spike ,it doesnt seem like it fits in the rotation ,is it just for them low health mobs that die quick ?

@simplebob100 You've got it! The only time you use Mind Spike is if the add will die within 15 seconds and it's not an obvious AoE situation. Thanks for the kind words :)

thank you for the advice! i have one last question. what is your item lvl and dps (on a raid dummy)? mine is 366 and i do about 18k at first, then i hold about 15. im asking this because im the only shadow priest that raids in my guild and i need to see how well or not i am doing.

@Twist3dSavi0r That's just about where I was at ilvl 365 during T11. I'm 375 equipped ilvl now and I do 25k at the start then settle at 18k over 7 million damage.

i have a question. should mind blast be cast on CD, or should it only be used when you have at least one orb? i know in most cases you should have an orb before the CD is up, but what if, for some reason, you go on a streak of not being able to get one? i would think that the dps from mind flaying till you get an orb would be more than, say, using your MB on CD, and then getting an orb right after, and having to wait until the CD is back b4 getting your empowered shadows buff. @Twist3dSavi0r If you have more than 4 seconds on ES then yes, cast MB without an orb. 4 seconds is a matter of debate though, and this rule changes based on the fight. Shannox normal I MB only with an orb due to how often I'm reapplying dots. Whether you use the orb your obtained after using a 0MB or whether you wait until the orb spawns doesn't change the total amount of damage done by orbs, the exception to this rule is if you use MB and spawn 3orbs directly afterwards then those are lost.

@Twist3dSavi0r but consider this. How often don't you have an orb? Compound that with how often you get 3 shadow orbs within a few seconds and you should find that it happens very rarely. Therefore, although this is a matter of opinion since there's so much RNG involved, I suggest using MB on CD regardless of orbs.
