@killuminatiwithme Reverse Osmosis water . Then leave it in a temp of under 4 degrees Celsius for a day ( apparently this restructures the water after the R O process disrupts it ) . Then add a pinch of Mountain salt in it for mineralization. Its about the cleanest, best water you can get in a city . Ie Make yourself with out tramping to a mountain spring or something .
Thank you - I will try it! And of course - there is a possibility to change or add ingerdients - for example blackcurrants, kale, spinach, raspberries etc, I guess.
The only question that I have - do you eat protein powder - I noticed a jar with such a label (you used it for spirulina-wheatgrass-barleygrass mix)
@apensiil Yes you can, I am currently adding a heap of Spinach and Silverbeet. Its a nice touch and more fresh raw food. Yes that is what I make my mix in. There is some in the house and on the occasional day I will add some. But it is not a staple. it is not really a sustainable product so it is used sparingly.
@awdillon, haha why the harshness? i'm just telling you that this smoothie will make you shit. that intestinal bacteria this guy added in the beginning was the cause of it.
i've just bought "wheat grass powder.". I've tried adding it to my breakfast blend of oats and grains.. What should I do to make the Wheat grass not taste soo eeww.. im not a fan of the taste.
I have always wanted to try a green shake but I'm afraid it will taste bad...It just looks like it wouldn't taste that good. Does the fruit cover up the wheat grass taste?
It Tastes Awesome . You may want to go a half dose of the green food while you are starting out. It can be an acquired taste. If people can think that Vodka or Rum tastes good this should be easy to ingest. Alot of taste is in the mind. If your taste buds are damaged by sugar it may me more challenging. Namaste
Huh is kind of complicated.. to many things to put in .. and I dont know about the kefir? Isnt that animal thing? But if you invite me for a taste I dont mind :P
As I saw the Earthlings documentary I refuse to eat any kind of animal related food.. And as I have read in so many places the animal protein is toxic for the human body
@odiliacarmen That is fine I an in total agreement that we need to cut down on animal protein. Hence the large amount of green protein ( Spirulina has the second highest amount of natural protein after dried egg white protein) But if your the Dali Lama or had only animal protein for generations ( like in the mountains of Tibet) it might not be a good idea to skip it completely. There are genetic factors that do come into play.
@FreeYogaVideos, animal protein will still be far superior than any other type of protein; the amino acid profiles are much better and the amount of protein is much larger. i don't understand odiliacarmen's comment on how animal protein is "toxic" for us. FreeYogaVideos, you seem like a person who understands nature well, so with that in mind naturally humans are supposed to be carnivores.
@tennowns Spirulina is the second highest natural protein and Highly digestible. I think that the human ability to take animal protein is a genetic thing . It you live in the mountains of Tibet or be an Eskimo you are certain not going to be able to eat a vegetable diet if your family has been on meat for 1000s of years. Good bowel movements are essential !! . Keep it clean guys
Great video! Seems like im going to be trying this excellent mix :D One question. Do you have to order any of your products from over seas? I also leave in Nz but find it hard to get many ingredients for things.
Spirulina is a Freshwater single celled algae, with a protein content of 60-70 percent 2nd highest natural food on the planet. However, even greater nutritional value can be found in its high concentration of vitamins, minerals and other beneficial nutrients.
Spirulina is an extract from seaweed and is very nuitritous.
Ok, Al in the years you have had this drink as a replacement meal, how do you feel it has improved your health, energy etc?
The reason I ask is,I have always eaten healthy without,as I see it, as going over the top,(my opinion only) by going organic and including nearly everything that is thought to be of a health benefit to my diet.
Moderation of healthy eating habits, and physical effort of some kind is the key IMOP.
I am with you on this " I have always eaten healthy without,as I see it, as going over the top,(my opinion only) by going organic and including nearly everything that is thought to be of a health benefit to my diet"
Spirulina is a Freshwater single celled algae. I have always had pretty high energy and it helps to maintain health in an ecological way .Spirulina produces 20 times more protein per acre than soybeans, spirulina delivers more nutrition per acre than any other food on the planet.
Sorry, but this looks quite impracticle, firstly all those ingredients, there are way too many to make the process an easy quick exercise, and then there is the expense,I can't see that being an affordable easy option for a nuitritous breakfast.
816sprint47 I filmed the whole thing in 7 minutes. If I was not filming I could have that made in 4 minutes and it was simple and practical. If you do not have 4 minutes to prepare your self a nutritious meal then I am not sure what you eat? Toast takes that long to cook. It would be about the price of a large coffee if you buy the ingredients in bulk. ( which I do ) I am not sure how you can put a price on your Health.
when you soak chia seeds they get soo much gel around them you can't wash it all off.

A small amount of Fermented Goats milk is more for the intestinal bacteria . I would leave it out if it was a concern.

@odiliacarmen animal is protein is not toxic for the human body if you know where to get the real stuff.
