I mix cetaphil lotion and body CREAM together and apply to my skin when I get out the shower and before I go to bed (throughout the day if necessary). I have had eczema since I was 3 and I am now 15. Hydrocortisone did not do anything for me. I also use a cream called protopic and it really helps my face

I've had eczema for 19 years, it's always on my legs or arms, and face, it's not severe but it's very embarrassing.

@BellaaMarlene I feel your pain. I have it all over my face. It so horrible....I think people should start a channel for exczema sufferers...preferablely by someone who suffers from it. I've tried to look for tonnes of videos but all it is are these doctors with wads of cash, not a spot of eczema telling me that a wee bit of this and its cure. I've had it for 15 years.

i had eczema from i was born, it grows in the folding part of the arm, now, it is going away, use "Cetaphil" from your local pharmacy and put it on morning and afternoon and night. this will help your skin over power the didsaese and cease to exist

sigh i have had eczema for like 7 years and i have been hospitalized numerous times. i have tried almost all home remedies that are allowed by the doctor and i have no idea what to do as they dont work. My doctor says that the next step is cyclosporin which may cause like blood cancer or something... HELP!!!!

Hydrocortisone is useless for me. It depends of course on the type of eczema and its severity. Usually it's not one cream but a whole range of medicine prescribed. I have bleeding weeping wounds on my skin, they hurt a lot...

My doc prescribed Desoximetasone USP,0.25%.

also,I use Dove unscented(the white bar) and

Cetaphil cream to moisturize all over after showering..

try this:its called little bhuddha eczema treatment its on ebay..from thailand..seriously..it works ..my skin was black and oozing..its all gone, im not an advertiser..just think u should try it out.i dont like ppl to suffer..

I hate having eczema.. I have it real bad on both my hands and palms. Causes bad dry cracks in the Winter also. This makes the simplest tasks impossible for me such as washing my hands.. stings like a bitch.

typical western quacks. trying to treat the symptom instead of the cause. try real TCM if you want real results. And it would be wise to try to learn how to balance your stress levels, since it can be a factor.

Your tips fail to adress the cause of someones eczema. You shouldn't be a doctor non the less if you want to help people why be a doctor? You should have became a herbalis/naturalist or something elce that helps people. all doctors do is poison, cut, and radioactively burning. You should be ashamed of yourself for being a doctor.

i too have tried everything, after much much research and personal use, i have found only a few things that work. 1. a good multi (life force @sourcenaturals, usana, douglas laboratories, nsi). 2. aloe (pure real aloe plant) used topically helps.3. laying out in the sun for 10-12 mins (max) the uvb rays help with the inflammation and redness. I take many other things but those 3 really help. I know all about vitamins so message if you have any questions.

Try to find a good clinic for Traditional Chinese Medicine. They are the only ones who succeeded in getting rid of my lifelong eczema. they have a different way of looking at the problem. highly recommended!
