  • Beautiful dobe and cute baby to. My dobe died in june and i miss him so much, they are wonderful dogs. Your video warmed my heart.

  • Absolutly adorable! The dog was even relaxed enough that it was falling asleep. :)

    Very cute <3

  • hahahahaahahah great vid... could you please tell me the name of this nice southern tune? Greetings from Greece :)

  • How could that child's mother put her poor defenseless dog in the path of the aggressive baby? That dog is clearly traumatized by the whole thing.

  • so adorable !

  • great dog!

he looks like our dog :D ...with his ears and his colour... beautiful!

  • lovely pair!!!

  • How beautiful. This is what a typical doberman does!

  • poor dog, he/she looks in distress

  • is it just me or does that dobe look alot like a chocolate lab?

  • doggy is getting a massage.

  • you should report this... The baby is going to kill him/her!

  • such a good baby, they should be very proud of their patient and understanding dobi.

  • Me wanz masash 2! ;)

  • OMG how terrible Call The Cops !

    LOL jk very cute

  • I find that my doberman loves human contact. If you're ever sitting or laying on the floor, he'll be laying up against you. They just love to be touched and I think that's what is happening here too. Nice video!

  • wow a 100lb doby? with them being so lean, I thought they'd be less then that?

  • More like a soothing massage for the Dobie than a beating.

  • Dobes are best

  • Awe!!! And good choice of music btw.

  • lol the dog is prolly thinking "ah this is the lifee" loll

  • Lol, if this is anything like my dog, he's just appreciating the pat.

  • Get rid of that dog, he's vicious!!!

  • How could you post something like this on youtube! This brutal and barbaric attack is horrible! :D 5*

  • The baby is like

    "This dog feels good"

    The dog is like

    "This baby feels good"

  • you feel cheated if you paid for someone to walk on your back as a massage when this babe is giving away free massages to dog lol

  • dobys are great dogs, I love mine

  • for a second i thought it said

    babys are great dogs.

    lol

  • Disqualification if animal gets immense pleasure from piggy toe scratches and if animal voluntarily lies next to said piggy toes.

  • Guard dog: will protect baby with life for occasional back massage :)

  • That's what I love about (most) dogs. You can pretty much annoy the crap out of 'em and they couldn't care less. If you even look at or breathe on a cat the wrong way, they get upset.

  • Then maybe my cat thought he was a dog, because my 1yr niece could pull on his tail and flop onto him and he would never do more then meow.. He was a great cat..

  • The dogs like I get a free back massage!!!

  • It doesn't matter if its a dobbie or a yorkie, the dog is what you THE OWNER make of it. The dog in this vid knows the baby is family an he will protect it and be by her side like it would with the adults in the house. Good video

  • lol i think the baby likes the way the dog feels on her feet

  • this is precious..and i LOVE the song. christ thile is amazing! good song for a good video :]

  • The dog seems to like it!

  • ummm u decide how the dog acts not the dog its usally vicous because of the owner or not use to people or because of wat the guy below me has put =D unless u get certain breeds who tend to guard u and dislike everyone else o.O my cousin has one of those and he is viscious to other people but not the owner

  • Answer to georgeyworge's question: No, not all dobermans are vicious. People only say things like that. The reason some animals are so "vicious" is because the way they are treated or have been treated and by how much love you give them. For example, when my doberman was a puppy, I was taking care of another puppy for awhile. The other puppy would take my dobie's food. So, now my doberman has trust issues when it comes to food. Are you getting the point?

    Good Luck

  • the breed is normally very docil, and like most creatures in the world tend to get voilent when agitated, the doberman make very good family pets. they just so happen to make very good guard animals as well, but they are normally patient. however it the owner that rases them to be a certain way.

  • dobes aren't viscious they are just portrayed that way in the media. Most dobies are very gentle and quite the characters. But again its all in how you train your dog.

  • Oh please get it; you will not be sorry! They are the best dogs EVER! I got three females, one after another. I had different dogs since I was a child, but I am a doberman addict. Noble, highly trainable, loyal, fun to be with, the list is endless... Did I mention: very good looking? In the US, ear cropping is standard. I like them with the ears down as well.

But, a doberman is an energetic dog who can easily outsmart the owner in order to get his/her way. Good training is a must.

  • Videos like this make me really wish that our current situation would allow us to get a dog for our son. Unfortunately, he'll have to wait until he's a bit older and we're more financially secure. Then it's puppy time!

  • Very smart thinking!

  • wow, great bluegrass sound. what song is this?

  • Dobermans are the biggest babies!! Not intended for the first time dog owner as they will test you. Mine has his ears and tail docked. This gives them the "mean" look. I also put a spike collar on him but still a huge baby. Loves the kids and hides behind me when we go to the vet.

  • Guardian for life !

  • id tap

  • Love chocolate dobies!

  • Strongbadd.. it wont make a bit of difference to the hearing. It's all cosmetic. They're cropped cos the owner/breeders want the dogs to look `bad`.

  • Actually, it does make a difference. I learned from a breeder (He offers dogs both cropped and docked and non cropped and docked) that by putting their ears up, their hearing is is sharper. They are able to to hear better, it doesn't amplify sound but rather help them better determine where the sound is coming from. Remember, these dogs where bred to guard. I met this breeder while looking for a good GSD breeder.

  • I know they're guard dogs. But what these breeders do to the dogs is mutaliazation and I think the breeder is justify that. JMO and Im not going to get into a fight about. Hope you found a GSD.

  • only thing missing is the dog telling the baby to massage the rest of him too haha nove vid lovely dog

  • that dog was just getting a free massage, lol

  • the dog gave up

  • talk about animal abuse haha

  • What a cute baby =D

And very nice Dobbie you have there =)

  • yes he's a guard dog,if he scent someone like a threat to this baby , he will probably rip him apart...

i tell you that from personal experience ...

    i have a dobe too...

  • it's like a massage for the dog lol

  • Oh no! The horror! The....the...CUTE! :) Great video here-thanks for showing us home dobies.

  • Cute baby feet. Gorgeous dog! Awesome ears!

  • that is a good fight ;d lol hahah

  • hooray for non cropped ears! and obviously very loving and gentle with your baby! XD i want 1 so bad! X3

  • cropping is not soley for looks. cropped ears can actually help the dobes ears from having infections. some are prone to infections in there ears and cropping allows for proper ventalation. our dobes ears were cropped and it absolutely did not phase him. he never skipped a beat.

  • Can you point me in the direction of the study that was done to prove that ear cropping reduces ear infections please?

  • It actually does help a wee bit but not a whole lot. It all comes down to cleaning your dogs ears regularly. But a bad crop can lead to other more hectic situations.

  • Also doesn't cropping their ears help with hearing? Since their ears are erect and not floppy.

  • it allows them to turn their ears towards sound. i've heard that it helps prevent infection, as well? not sure. it's not as cruel as activist make it out to be - it's all done under anesthesia, and *should* be done by an experienced veterinarian, only.

if you don't like cropping, though, that's your business. whether an owner gets it or not is their prerogative.

  • that'd be what ye call a spawn of evil, this be most disturbing [scratches my non-existent beard]

  • I HAVE A LARGE BEARD IF YOU WANT TO BUY IT

  • Nah, its okay, i'll just grow a peard, and do the beardscratching later =P

  • oh no, somebody call PETA! LOL

    Cute dog and kid

  • ow ow ow!!!

hes in pain!!! he he! 5/5

  • very nice video, shows how loving dobermans are.

  • Shocking!!
